Hicarer 12" Heavy-Duty Screw Tent Stakes, Luminous White, 10 Pack — 12 in Spiral Carbon Steel with Glow Caps

Hicarer 12" heavy-duty screw tent stakes are luminous, carbon-steel spiral anchors designed to secure inflatables, canopies and tents in grass or compact soil.

These 10 metal stakes plus a hex-head driver combine a long threaded shaft, reinforced pointed tip and glow-top cap so you can fasten outdoor decorations and shelters quickly and confidently after sunset. Built from rust-resistant carbon steel with a plastic luminous head, each stake measures about 12 inches (30 cm) and offers extended thread length for deeper hold in firmer ground. They ship in a set sized to replace multiple anchors at once and include a 0.51-inch hex driver for use with cordless drills or impact drivers.

How do these screw stakes improve hold compared with standard pegs?

The spiral thread cuts into turf and compact soil to resist pullout and uplift that typical straight pegs struggle with. Their 8-inch threaded portion increases surface contact underground, distributing force along the shaft rather than at a single point.

• 12" length with ~8" threaded portion for deeper anchoring
• Spiral design resists torque and vertical pull
• Pointed tip makes initial insertion easier in firm soil
• Works with power driver via included hex head for fast installation

Will they work for inflatables, tents, canopies and pet tethers?

Yes — these stakes are made for a range of lightweight to medium-duty outdoor uses, from holiday inflatables and garden decorations to tents, tarps and securing a leash. They are not intended for loose, sandy beaches where thread cannot bite into the substrate reliably.

• Suitable for grass, compacted dirt and firmer soils
• Recommended for inflatables, canopies, tarps, tents, and light-duty pet tethers
• Not recommended for loose sand or overly rocky ground
• Include hex driver for use with cordless drills to speed setup

How does the luminous top help at night and during events?

The glow cap charges from sunlight or artificial light and emits a visible marker after dark, helping prevent trips and lost anchors during evening events. It’s a practical safety and convenience feature for holiday displays and late-night campsite setups.

• Plastic luminous top charges in light and glows in darkness
• Highly visible marker reduces risk of tripping and losing stakes
• Useful for holiday inflatables, lawn decorations and night campsites
• Easy to spot from a short distance without extra lighting

How should I install and care for the stakes to ensure long life?

Use the included 0.51" hex head driver with a cordless drill or impact driver for quick, consistent installation. Wear gloves to protect hands from sharp points and store stakes dry to minimize surface corrosion despite their rust-resistant finish.

• Insert pointed tip into ground, then drive using hex driver or hand tool
• Wear gloves when handling to avoid injury from sharp ends
• Clean and dry before storage to extend service life
• Remove from very rocky ground to prevent shaft bending or damage
