HOWBOW Tie Rod End Set for EZGO TXT Golf Cart 2001‑UP — Left & Right OEM Fit, Aluminum‑Steel Durable

If your EZGO TXT golf cart shows looseness or play in the steering, worn tie rod ends are a common cause. This HOWBOW two-piece kit includes a driver-side and passenger-side rod end built to match OEM fitment for 2001 and newer 36V EZGO TXT electric and gas models. The components pair aluminum and steel construction for improved strength and longer service life compared with standard parts.

How will these tie rod ends improve steering feel?

Replacing aged or damaged ball joints reduces play in the tie rod assembly and restores firm, predictable steering input. That makes steering responses tighter and helps maintain correct wheel alignment between services.

• Direct OEM fit for EZGO TXT 2001-UP to ensure proper geometry.
• Aluminum and steel construction increases rigidity and longevity.
• Restores factory steering feel by removing looseness in joints.

What exactly comes in the kit and how do I identify left vs right?

The package contains two tie rod ends: one for the driver side (OEM 70902-G01) and one for the passenger side (OEM 70902-G02). Threads and nut directions differ between the two, so check thread orientation before installation.

• 1 driver-side tie rod end (OEM 70902-G01) included.
• 1 passenger-side tie rod end (OEM 70902-G02) included.
• Left-hand and right-hand thread distinctions on ball joints and hex nut to match original assembly.

How difficult is installation and what tools are needed?

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with steering gear maintenance. The tie rod ends mount to the steering gear assembly and connect to the spindle; they replace the old ball joints directly to return the steering and suspension to their original condition.

• Basic hand tools: wrenches, sockets, torque wrench, and possibly a tie-rod separator.
• Recommended to inspect alignment after installation; realign wheels if necessary.
• Follow safety procedures: lift cart securely and support before working under it.

What materials and durability features should I expect?

HOWBOW uses a combination of aluminum and steel in this upgraded design to balance lightweight characteristics with robust strength. The design aims to extend service life compared with stock parts that may corrode or wear faster under regular use.

• Aluminum components reduce weight while resisting corrosion.
• Steel hardware where high-strength connections are required.
• Manufactured to match OEM dimensions for reliable performance.
