How sharp and durable is the HUAAO 3" blade?

The blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV steel, heat-treated to 58–60 HRC and finished in a coated or satin option for added corrosion resistance. It arrives razor-sharp and is suitable for precise slicing and everyday cutting chores.

• Blade length: 3 inches; plain edge for clean cuts
• Steel: 8Cr13MoV, heat-treated for hardness and edge life
• Thickness: 2.3 mm for strength without excess weight
• Finish options improve corrosion resistance and reduce glare

What makes the handle and carry features practical for daily use?

The handle uses glass-reinforced nylon (often called grivory) to combine toughness with a thin, ergonomic profile. A discreet pocket clip and the knife's 1.88 oz weight allow comfortable carry in pockets or gear without noticeable bulk.

• Handle length: 4.25 inches and slim 9.8 mm thickness for comfortable grip
• Anti-slip texture provides traction during use
• Low profile pocket clip for secure, easy access
• Lightweight at under 2 ounces—ideal for EDC and backpacks

How easy and safe is it to open, close, and maintain?

Opening is manual via a thumb stud for reliable one-handed deployment without complex mechanisms. The folding action is smooth and secure; routine cleaning and occasional sharpening keep the blade performing well over time.

• Manual thumb-stud one-handed opening and manual closing
• Secure lockup and smooth action for safe handling
• Simple maintenance: clean pivot, oil occasionally, sharpen with standard stones
• Suitable for sharpening to maintain a razor edge at home

What size and weight should I expect carrying this knife daily?

When open the knife measures 7.5 inches overall, folding to a compact length of about 4.25 inches, so it tucks discreetly into a pocket or pack. Its slim width and 1.88-ounce weight make it unobtrusive for all-day carry.

• Opened length: 7.5 inches; blade length: 3 inches
• Handle width: 1.1 inches and overall slim profile
• Weight: 1.88 ounces—minimal feel in pocket
