This 40-ounce Hydro Flask combines TempShield® double-wall vacuum insulation and a wide-mouth opening to make all-day hydration simple and reliable. How long will this Hydro Flask keep my drink cold?

The TempShield double-wall vacuum insulation is engineered to slow temperature exchange so chilled beverages stay refreshingly cold for extended periods. While performance varies with ambient temperature and how often you open it, typical use keeps cold drinks cool for up to 24 hours.

• TempShield double-wall vacuum insulation
• 24 hours cold under normal daily use
• Wide mouth fits full-size ice cubes for longer cooling

Is the Flex Straw Cap leakproof and easy to use on the go?

The Flex Straw Cap closes securely to prevent spills when stowed, and its flip-open straw allows for quick sips without removing the cap. A flexible carry handle molds to your hand or clips to a carabiner, making it convenient for commuting, gym sessions, and day trips.

• Leakproof when the straw cap is closed
• One-handed flip-and-sip operation for active use
• Flexible handle for comfortable transport or attachment

How easy is it to clean and will it retain odors or flavors?

The bottle and most lid parts are dishwasher-safe, and the stainless-steel interior resists flavor and odor retention so each refill tastes fresh. For best results, disassemble the straw lid before placing it in the dishwasher and rinse after beverages with strong flavor.

• Dishwasher-safe bottle and removable lid pieces
• Pro-grade stainless steel resists lingering tastes and smells
• Wide-mouth opening simplifies hand-washing and ice insertion

Which lids and accessories are compatible with this wide mouth bottle?

The 40 oz wide mouth fits Hydro Flask Wide Mouth caps and lids, giving you options to switch between straw, chug, sip, or stainless caps depending on activity and preference. Several bottle boots and lids are available separately to customize grip, insulation, and spill resistance.
