iClimb Hooded 3M Insulation Wearable Blanket, Dark Grey, 78” × 57”, 1.5 lb — Ultralight, Packable

The iClimb Hooded 3M Insulation Warm Blanket is a featherless, ultralight wearable blanket that combines 3M Thinsulate warmth with a detachable hood, pocket, and packable convenience for indoor and outdoor use.

This roomy dark-grey blanket uses 3M THINSULATE M100 insulation to trap body heat while remaining slim and breathable. It’s built from 20D nylon with a water-resistant 100% polyester fill, weighs just 1.5 pounds, and compresses into an attached stuff sack for easy stashing in a backpack, car, or carry-on. The design includes a detachable hood, a front hand pocket, snap buttons and elastic straps so it works as a wearable poncho, a lap quilt, or a temporary sleeping cover.

How warm is this blanket for chilly nights?

The blanket relies on 3M THINSULATE M100 (100 g/m²) insulation for efficient warmth without bulk. Because synthetic fibers trap heat and shed moisture, it keeps you comfortable in damp conditions better than traditional down cladding.

• 3M THINSULATE M100 provides thermal efficiency with low bulk.
• Synthetic polyester fills retain loft even when lightly wet.
• 20D nylon shell adds wind resistance to lock warmth in.
• Detachable hood increases head and neck coverage.

Can I take this blanket on outdoor trips and still stay compact?

Yes — at 1.5 lb the blanket is ultralight and compresses to roughly 13” × 5.5” × 5.5” in its attached stuff bag. This makes it simple to stash in a daypack, glove compartment, or travel luggage without adding significant weight or volume.

• Packed dimensions: 13” × 5.5” × 5.5” for easy storage.
• Integrated stuff sack prevents losing the bag on the trail.
• Low weight suits backpacking, festivals, and flights.
• Durable shell stands up to repeated travel use.

How versatile is the iClimb blanket for different activities?

The design includes snap buttons, a detachable hood, and elastic straps so the blanket can be configured as a wearable poncho, a lap quilt, a shawl, or a temporary sleeping cover. That flexibility makes it useful from backyard lounging to outdoor adventures and stadium events.

• Snap buttons secure the blanket around shoulders to prevent slipping.
• Elastic straps help convert it into a wearable format for hands-free warmth.
• Large open size (78” × 57”) fits most adults and drapes over knees and torso.
• Front hand pocket lets you warm hands or store small items.

How do I care for and maintain the blanket?

The blanket is machine washable when required, but spot-cleaning prolongs life for everyday use. When laundering, use a large-capacity front-loading washer on a cold, delicate cycle with extra rinses and an additional spin to remove water efficiently.

• Spot-clean with a damp sponge for light dirt or spills.
• Machine wash cold, delicate cycle, two rinses, extra spin recommended.
• Air dry or tumble dry low per fabric guidance; avoid high heat.
• Synthetic fill resists water absorption (under 1% by weight).
