Innova Disc Golf Starter Set for Disc Golf Beginners — Blue DX Driver, Mid-Range & Putter with Shoulder Bag

Everything a new player needs to start playing disc golf: three beginner-friendly Innova discs, a mini marker, and a shoulder bag for easy transport.

Built by Innova Disc Golf, this starter set collects a fairway driver, a mid-range, a putter, a mini marker, and a compact shoulder bag in beginner-friendly DX plastics and easy-to-throw weights (151–159g). Each disc was chosen for predictable flight, forgiving release characteristics, and wide usability so first-time players can learn fundamentals without fighting overly stable equipment. Colors will vary, making every set visually unique.

What discs are included and why were they chosen?

The set contains a DX Leopard fairway driver, a DX Shark mid-range, and a DX Aviar putter, plus a Classic Stars mini marker. Innova selected these models for their approachable flight profiles and proven track records among new and casual players.

• DX Leopard — glidey, straight fairway driver ideal for learning distance and turnover throws.
• DX Shark — versatile mid-range useful for controlled drives and approach shots.
• DX Aviar — dependable putter with a predictable finish for consistent putting practice.
• Classic Stars mini — compact marker for practice and scorekeeping on the course.

How does the included shoulder bag help new players?

The compact Innova Go shoulder bag is sized to carry 8–10 discs and essential accessories while remaining lightweight and easy to sling over your shoulder. It keeps discs organized and accessible so you can focus on improving technique rather than wrestling with gear.

• Single-strap design for quick on/off between throws.
• Main compartment fits multiple discs without crowding flight edges.
• Exterior pockets for keys, marker, or small drinks.
• Durable fabric suited for park and course use.

Are these discs suitable for absolute beginners?

Yes—each disc in this set is produced in DX plastic at beginner-friendly weights (151–159g), offering comfortable throws for a wide range of arm strengths. Their flight tendencies emphasize straight flights, glide, and manageable fade, which speeds up learning and builds confidence early on.

• Lower weights reduce torque on release and improve control for new players.
• DX plastic provides a tactile grip and affordable replacement if lost.
• Disc designs emphasize predictable flight paths to simplify shot selection.
• Mini marker helps teach putting and lie-marking conventions.

What should I expect in terms of color and personalization?

Because colors will vary, you may receive different colorways across sets; this adds an element of surprise and visual variety. The DX line also wears in over time, subtly changing feel and flight characteristics—useful for learning how plastic types affect performance.

• Randomized colors mean each set looks distinctive on the course.
• DX plastic scuffs naturally, offering different grip textures as discs age.
• Stamps can be used to identify discs or mark ownership.

Who is this for: This Innova Disc Golf Starter Set is aimed at brand-new players, families introducing kids to disc sports, or casual players upgrading from a single random disc. It’s also a practical gift for anyone curious about disc golf who wants a complete, course-ready kit without hunting for individual discs or accessories.
