ION ICE FISHING Battery Charger for fishing — Gen 1 Black, Fast Automatic Charger with LED Status Indicators

The ION Ice Fishing Battery Charger is the official Gen 1 charger that delivers a fast, safe, and automatic recharge for compatible ION batteries.

This compact black charger is the standard power accessory included with Gen 1 ION batteries and engineered for reliable, worry-free recharging on the dock, in the garage, or at the ice shack. Its intelligent charging circuitry monitors battery condition and stops charging when full, helping protect battery life while getting your pack ready in just a few hours. Clear indicator lights communicate charging progress and temperature-related interruptions so you always know the charger’s status at a glance.

How quickly will this charger restore my ION battery?

The charger completes a full recharge in approximately 3–5 hours depending on battery capacity and starting state of charge. It balances speed with safe charging practices to avoid overheating or overcharging.

• Typical full charge time: 3–5 hours for Gen 1 ION batteries
• Intelligent current management adapts to battery condition
• Automatic shut-off prevents continued charging after full

What does the charger’s indicator lights tell me?

Indicator LEDs give a clear readout of the charger’s current condition so you can quickly interpret charging progress or detect temperature-related pauses. The lights include states for charging, charged, too hot, too cold, and power present.

• Charging: battery is actively receiving power
• Charged: battery reached full capacity and charging stopped
• Too Hot / Too Cold: temperature safety hold to protect battery health
• Power: confirms the charger is connected to mains electricity

Is the charger safe and easy to use outdoors during fishing trips?

The charger’s design focuses on straightforward operation and safety features suited for field use, though it should be used in dry, sheltered conditions away from direct moisture. Its automatic turn-off and temperature indicators reduce the need for constant monitoring during multi-hour charging sessions.

• Plug-and-play operation — connect battery and mains, then monitor LEDs
• Automatic stop prevents overcharging and reduces maintenance needs
• Temperature indicators help avoid charging in unsafe thermal conditions
• Compact size is convenient for transport and storage in gear bags
