ISURE MARINE 13 lb/6 kg 316 Stainless Steel Delta Anchor, One-Piece Triangle with High Holding Power

This triangular Delta-style anchor combines a polished 316 stainless steel construction with a streamlined shape that sets quickly and resists corrosion in saltwater environments. Engineered as a single-piece design, it reduces moving parts and provides consistent bite and holding performance for small to medium recreational boats. Its heavy-duty build and bright finish also make it a low-maintenance option for boaters seeking longevity and strength without sacrificing appearance.

How well does this anchor hold in different seabeds?

The ISURE MARINE Delta anchor is optimized to perform across a wide range of bottoms. Its flared wing geometry and pointed tip help it penetrate soft seabeds like mud and sand, while the rigid triangular shape grips better on harder or mixed bottoms such as gravel, rock, and coral rubble.

• Excellent holding in mud and sand due to fast penetration and large surface area.
• Stable performance on gravel and rock where the shape wedges and resists movement.
• One-piece 316 stainless steel construction minimizes component failure in varied conditions.

What makes the 316 stainless steel construction important?

316 stainless steel is widely used in marine hardware for its enhanced resistance to corrosion from saltwater. The polished finish improves aesthetics and reduces places where marine growth can begin, while the solid fabrication ensures structural integrity under load.

• 316 alloy resists pitting and crevice corrosion in marine environments.
• Mirror-polished surface lowers long-term maintenance and looks good on deck.
• Robust one-piece build avoids welds or pins that commonly fail over time.

How heavy and what size applications suit a 13 lb Delta anchor?

A 13 lb Delta anchor is well suited to small to medium-sized pleasure craft, tenders, and day boats. Weight selection depends on boat length, expected conditions, and rode type; for calm to moderate coastal use this size provides dependable holding without excessive weight for handling.

• Recommended for small powerboats, sailboats, and tenders depending on manufacturer guidelines.
• Easy enough for one person to handle while still offering strong holding power.
• Pairs well with appropriate chain and rope rode for secure anchoring in typical recreational use.

How do I maintain and use the anchor for best results?

Routine care is simple: rinse after use, inspect for damage, and store dry or secured on deck. When anchoring, set slowly with engine in reverse to allow the anchor to dig in, and scope correctly using sufficient line or chain for depth and conditions.

• Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure to extend finish life.
• Check shank and attachment points regularly for deformation or wear.
• Use recommended scope (typically 5:1 to 7:1) and add chain for shock absorption if needed.

Who is this for: Boaters who want a durable, low-maintenance anchor with high holding power across varied seabeds. The ISURE MARINE 13 lb Delta is aimed at recreational sailors, small powerboat owners, and anglers who need a reliable anchor that sets quickly, resists corrosion, and stays dependable season after season. It's especially suitable for those who prefer a one-piece stainless steel anchor that combines strength with a polished marine finish.
