J JACKCUBE DESIGN challenge coin display case — 7-tier black hardwood rack with acrylic door & lock

A handcrafted 7-shelf black display case with acrylic hinged door and lock, built to showcase and protect challenge coins, poker chips, medals, pins and similar collectibles.

This hardwood shadow box combines a smooth, hand-finished leather-look frame with a felt-lined interior and grooved shelves to keep items secure and visible. It ships fully assembled, includes mounting hardware and a key-operated lock, and fits a wide range of round and flat memorabilia. The compact outside dimensions (14.8 x 2.2 x 17.6 inches) make it easy to wall-mount or stand on a shelf while adding a refined, modern touch to a room.

How does the case protect my coins and medals?

The case uses a hinged acrylic door to shield collectibles from dust and accidental knocks while still keeping them on display. Inside, a soft felt backing prevents scuffs and the center grooves on each shelf cradle round pieces to stop shifting or sliding.

• Hinged transparent acrylic door for dust and impact protection
• Lock and key for added security against unauthorized access
• Felt-lined interior to reduce abrasion and preserve finishes
• Grooved shelves hold coins and chips firmly in place

What sizes and types of collectibles will fit this rack?

The seven shelves are designed to accept a broad range of small, flat collectibles — from military challenge coins and casino chips to pins, ribbons and badges. Each shelf groove accommodates typical coin diameters and similar round items, while the shallow depth keeps pieces visible.

• Fits standard challenge coin diameters and most poker chips
• Suitable for pins, badges, ribbons, insignia, and flat tokens
• Seven tiers provide space for organized collections or themed rows
• Compact footprint suits walls, offices, man caves, or display cabinets

What materials and finish are used, and how does it look?

The frame is hand-finished with multiple sanding and polishing steps to create a smooth, leather-like surface featuring a subtle diagonal pattern for a contemporary appearance. Inside, the felt background complements metal and enamel finishes while reducing reflections behind the items.

• Hand-finished hardwood frame with elegant diagonal texture
• Soft felt interior to protect delicate finishes
• Clear acrylic door for unobstructed viewing
• Lockable side latch with matching key included

How easy is it to install and maintain?

The display arrives fully assembled so there's no on-site construction required. All mounting hardware is provided for wall installation; routine care is limited to wiping the exterior and acrylic with a soft cloth to maintain clarity.

• Ships assembled — no tools or assembly steps needed
• Includes hardware for secure wall mounting
• Accessible hinged door for quick display updates
• Wipe-clean exterior and acrylic for simple upkeep

Who is this for: collectors, veterans, hobbyists and gift buyers seeking a refined way to display and protect small round and flat memorabilia. It’s ideal for anyone who wants a ready-to-hang, lockable display with a modern yet classic finish that keeps treasured pieces organized and visible.
