JOYTUTUS SUV Tent for Camping, Gray Orange, Aluminum Poles, Waterproof PU2000mm Double Door

The JOYTUTUS SUV Tent is a waterproof tailgate shelter that converts your SUV or minivan into a roomy 4–8 person sleeping and storage area with a detachable freestanding option.

Designed for families and small groups who want easy car-camping setups, this orange JOYTUTUS tailgate tent attaches to most SUVs, CUVs and minivans or stands alone as a compact shelter. The tent combines a large 7.7 ft x 7.7 ft footprint with a 6.9 ft peak height, lightweight aluminum poles, and PU2000mm-coated 210D Oxford fabric to balance comfort, weather protection, and portability for weekend road trips and campground parking.

How much space does the JOYTUTUS SUV Tent provide for sleeping and gear?

The interior fits four to six adults plus two children, or a double SUV air mattress and several sleeping bags with room left for gear. The square floor plan and nearly 7 ft headroom make it possible to sit up, dress, and move comfortably inside.

• Floor dimensions: 7.7 ft x 7.7 ft; peak height: 6.9 ft.
• Fits a double SUV air mattress or up to four sleeping pads side-by-side.
• Extra space for coolers, chairs, and storage along the sides or in the rear tunnel.

Will the tent keep me dry during rain and windy conditions?

The tent uses heavy-duty 210D Oxford fabric with a PU2000mm waterproof coating, a full rainfly, and taped seams to reduce water penetration. Guy lines, nine stakes, and an efficient door runoff system improve stability and water shedding in typical campsite weather.

• PU2000mm coating and taped seams for reliable water resistance.
• Full rainfly and runoff design channel water away from entry points.
• Four guylines and nine stakes for anchored stability in breezy conditions.

How does attachment and setup work with different vehicles?

Attachment is flexible: elastic edging, tailgate straps, and a rear tunnel let the JOYTUTUS tent mount to a variety of hatchback or SUV tailgates, while the tent can also be detached and used as a freestanding shelter. The design allows you to park, camp, and even drive away for daytime activities without breaking down the whole setup.

• Elastic edging and four tailgate straps for secure fit to many vehicles.
• Detachable rear tunnel enables drive-away convenience during the day.
• Also converts to standalone ground shelter when not attached to a car.

How comfortable and ventilated is the interior for warm-weather use?

Two opposite doors and three panoramic windows create cross-ventilation to reduce heat buildup and keep the interior airy. The double-door layout and side entry make moving gear in and out simple, and panoramic windows provide views without sacrificing airflow.

• Dual doors plus three large windows for maximum cross-breeze.
• Side entry for quick access to chairs, coolers, or sleeping pads.
• Interior layout supports sitting, changing, and gear organization.

Who is this for? The JOYTUTUS SUV Tent is aimed at families, weekend road trippers, and small-group campers who want a quick tailgate-to-tent solution that balances spacious interior living with waterproof protection. If you camp from your vehicle, need a shelter that adapts between attached and freestanding modes, and prefer a lightweight setup with strong ventilation, this tent suits multi-person outings and campsite parking scenarios.
