KANSEPT Korvid V pocket cleaver knife, 2.91" D2 blade, Black + Purple Undead Print, Jade G10 handle, Crossbar lock

The KANSEPT Korvid V Pocket Knife is a compact cleaver-style EDC with a 2.91" D2 steel blade and a textured jade G10 handle built for reliable cutting and one-handed use.

Designed for everyday carry, outdoor chores, and weekend adventures, the Korvid V blends a broad cleaver profile with premium materials: high-hardness D2 blade steel for sustained edge performance and a patterned jade G10 handle for secure grip. The knife's Crossbar lock permits smooth deployment and dependable lock-up while the low-profile pocket clip and lanyard hole make it easy to carry. Below you’ll find clear answers about the knife’s construction, practical uses, handling, and who benefits most from this model.

What makes the D2 cleaver blade a strong choice for a small pocket knife?

The Korvid V uses D2 tool steel, heat-treated for edge retention and wear resistance, shaped into a wide cleaver-style profile that slices and chops with stability. The blade’s blackwash finish reduces glare and helps hide surface wear from hard use.

• 2.91-inch blade length for versatile cutting without excess bulk
• Cleaver profile creates a broad belly for controlled slicing and heavier cuts
• D2 steel maintains a sharp edge longer than many stainless steels
• Blackwash finish minimizes reflections and surface blemishes

How secure and convenient is the Crossbar lock and deployment?

The Crossbar locking mechanism offers smooth one-handed opening and a positive lock when deployed, giving confidence during cutting tasks. It’s ambidextrous in operation and engineered to provide a solid feel without complex manipulation.

• Crossbar lock enables quick, single-handed deployment
• Reliable lock-up reduces accidental blade closure
• Suitable for left- and right-handed users due to a balanced mechanism
• Low maintenance compared with some other lock types

Will the jade G10 handle perform in wet or cold conditions?

The jade G10 scales are textured with the Purple Undead print to enhance tactile purchase and resist slipping, even when your hands are wet or gloved. G10 is a stable, lightweight composite that stands up to moisture, temperature swings, and repeated handling.

• Jade G10 material is water-resistant and dimensionally stable
• Textured print adds extra grip and a distinctive aesthetic
• Ergonomic shape supports sustained use without hotspots
• Lightweight construction keeps the knife comfortable in-pocket

How practical is this knife for EDC, camping, and gift-giving?

The Korvid V’s blend of a compact footprint, robust blade, and carrying hardware makes it practical for daily tasks, campside food prep, and light fieldwork. Its distinctive look and quality components also make it an appealing collectible or present for an outdoors-minded friend.

• Compact size fits most pockets and backpacks easily
• Strong pocket clip and lanyard hole improve carry options
• Cleaver geometry handles food prep, rope, and packaging tasks
• Stylish finish and quality materials create a memorable gift
