Skywin Kayak Cooler Behind Seat Grey, Slim Under-Seat Cooler with 6–8 Hour Insulation

The Skywin Kayak Cooler Behind Seat is a compact, waterproof seat-back cooler that fits under lawn-chair style kayak seats to keep drinks and snacks insulated and organized on day paddles.

Designed for small-boat owners who need chilled provisions without bulky crates, this grey Skywin cooler pairs closed-cell foam insulation with a PVC outer shell and a water-resistant zipper to reduce leaks and preserve cooling for 6–8 hours in normal conditions. Its slim footprint tucks neatly behind most kayak seats, freeing deck space and leaving essentials within easy reach while you paddle.

How does this cooler save space on my kayak?

The Skywin seat-back cooler uses a narrow, elongated shape that slides into the under-seat area where larger coolers can't fit. That layout keeps the kayak's centerline clear and gives you room to carry other gear onboard.

• Dimensions: 16.5” x 6.3” x 11.8”—slim profile for under-seat placement.
• External see-through mesh pockets (removable) for organizing small items.
• Holds up to 12 bottles or 24 cans while occupying minimal deck space.

Will it stay secure while paddling or in choppy water?

Yes — the cooler fastens behind lawn-chair style kayak seats using four supplied bungee ball cords, keeping it stable during normal paddling and rougher conditions. The low center of gravity and close seat attachment minimize bouncing and shifting.

• Includes 4 bungee ball cords for quick, adjustable mounting.
• Low-profile design reduces wind and water drag behind the seat.
• Strap attachment points are compatible with most lawn-chair kayak seats.

How long will the cooler keep drinks cold?

The cooler combines thick closed-cell foam insulation with a durable PVC shell to slow heat transfer and maintain low temperatures for several hours. Under typical conditions you can expect cooling performance in the 6–8 hour range, making it suitable for day trips and short overnight outings.

• Closed-cell foam interior for thermal resistance and buoyant protection.
• PVC outer shell adds water resistance and abrasion durability.
• Water-resistant zipper reduces seepage; not designed for full submersion.

How portable and practical is it off the water?

Skywin included a detachable shoulder strap so the cooler doubles as a grab-and-go bag from vehicle to kayak or campsite. The moderate capacity handles snacks, drinks, and small supplies without becoming cumbersome.

• Includes one shoulder strap for comfortable carrying to launch points.
• 12-bottle / 24-can capacity balances storage and portability.
• Removable mesh pockets expand organizational options on land or water.

Who is this for? The Skywin Kayak Cooler Behind Seat is aimed at paddlers who want chilled provisions without sacrificing deck space: recreational kayakers, anglers using lawn-chair seats, beach-goers, and campers on short trips. It’s also a good choice for anyone who prefers a purpose-built seat-back solution to bulky crates—providing secure attachment, sensible capacity, and easy transport between car, dock, and campsite.
