KH866 Kids Bike Seat Replacement with Post is a ready-to-install child bicycle saddle and 28.6mm seatpost that upgrades comfort and restores fit, extending seat height up to 12 inches for most kids' MTB bikes.

Replace a worn or damaged children’s saddle quickly with this complete seat-and-post combo. The KH866 unit pairs a waterproof PU leather cover with thick high-density foam and a sturdy 230mm metal post sized to 28.6mm (1.13") diameter, giving a reliable, comfortable ride that fits the majority of kids' mountain and youth bicycles. It’s built for durability, easy installation, and stable performance on short commutes, park rides, and family outings.

Will this replacement saddle fit my child's bike?

The KH866 is engineered for broad compatibility with children’s MTB and youth bikes that accept a 28.6mm (1.13") seatpost. Confirm your current post diameter before purchase — this saddle-post set is not for adult bikes with larger posts.

• Includes a 28.6mm diameter seatpost standard for many kids' bikes
• Seatpost length 230mm for raising saddle height up to 12 inches
• Not compatible with adult frames or non-standard clamps
• Simple measurement: remove your old post and measure diameter to verify fit

How comfortable and durable is the saddle for everyday use?

The saddle combines a soft thickened sponge cushion with waterproof PU leather to deliver a comfortable, weather-resistant seat for children. The dense foam maintains shape under regular use while the reinforced cover helps resist abrasion and light rain.

• High-density foam padding for shock absorption and comfort
• Waterproof PU leather resists moisture and cleans easily
• Sturdy metal post and secure clamp area for stable support
• Designed for casual rides, school routes, and playtime cycling

How simple is the installation and what tools are required?

Installing the KH866 saddle and post is straightforward for most home mechanics or parents. The post slides into the seat tube and tightens with your bike’s existing clamp; basic hand tools like an Allen wrench or spanner are usually all that’s required.

• Slide-in fit: insert post into seat tube and tighten clamp
• Use common tools — Allen key or wrench depending on clamp type
• Adjust seat angle and height before fully tightening
• Check clamp torque and seat stability after initial test ride

What materials and build features improve safety and longevity?

The KH866 prioritizes a balance between lightweight construction and ruggedness: a metal post provides reliable support while the saddle shell and cover resist wear. Components are selected to withstand typical child use and occasional exposure to outdoor elements without heavy maintenance.

• Durable metal seatpost for secure support and minimal flex
• Reinforced saddle shell under the foam to protect foam integrity
• PU leather cover for easy cleaning and weather resistance
• Designed for repeated mounting, dismounting, and everyday play

Who is this for? The KH866 Kids Bike Seat Replacement with Post is ideal for parents, caregivers, bike shop technicians, or anyone maintaining youth mountain bikes and children’s bicycles that accept a 28.6mm post. It suits families replacing a worn saddle, upgrading comfort for a growing child, or keeping a bike ride-ready for playground trips, neighborhood rides, and light trail use. Not intended for adult bicycles or frames that require different post diameters.
