Klymit Rapid Air Pump portable hand inflator for Flat & Push-Pull valves — Green, One, fast dry inflation

If you prefer conserving energy after a long hike and want to avoid breathing moisture into your pad, this small manual pump offers a fast, dry way to inflate compatible Klymit sleeping pads. At roughly 4 x 2 x 2 inches, it slips into a pack, reduces internal condensation, and includes two connector adaptors to match the most common Klymit valve types.

How fast and easy is inflation with this pump?

The roll-top design creates strong, directed airflow so you can inflate a sleeping pad much faster and with less effort than mouth inflation. Each roll compresses air into the pad, and the adaptors ensure a tight seal so fewer repetitions are needed.

• Roll-top bladder produces continuous, forceful air flow
• Two included connectors fit Flat and Push-Pull valves
• Short inflation cycles compared with mouth inflation
• One-handed operation; no batteries or tools required

Will it fit my Klymit pad and reduce condensation?

This pump is designed specifically to work with many Klymit Static V pads that use Flat or Push-Pull valves; it is not compatible with Static V Junior, Double V, Hammock V or Insulated Hammock V models. By keeping your breath out of the pad, it limits internal moisture buildup, which helps maintain loft and performance overnight.

• Compatible with Klymit pads using Flat and Push-Pull valves
• Not compatible with specific V-series exceptions listed above
• Prevents moisture transfer from breath to pad interior
• Helps preserve pad loft and comfort through the night

How portable and durable is the pump for backcountry use?

Weighing almost nothing and sized to tuck into a sleeping bag or side pocket, the pump is built from rugged, lightweight materials aimed at trail use. Its compact footprint makes it ideal for minimalist setups where every ounce and inch counts.

• Compact 4 x 2 x 2 inch size for easy stowage
• Durable, weather-tolerant construction for outdoor use
• No batteries or charging required—manual operation only
• Simple maintenance; rinse and dry if exposed to dirt

Can I use this for other inflatables besides Klymit pads?

While optimized for Klymit sleeping pads, the included connectors may work with other small inflatables that accept similar valve styles. For larger inflatables or different valve types, compatibility will vary and additional adaptors might be needed.

• Works best with matching Flat and Push-Pull valves
• May fit other small inflatables with similar valves
• Not intended for large air mattresses or high-pressure inflatables
• Carry spare adaptors if you plan to use multiple brands

Who is this for: The Klymit Rapid Air Pump is aimed at hikers, bikepackers, and campers who value lightweight gear, want to avoid moisture from mouth inflation, and use Klymit pads with Flat or Push-Pull valves. If you need an ultra-compact, reliable inflator for solo or multi-day trips, this pump is a practical addition to minimalist sleep systems.
