The KNOG Quokka 150 is a compact, rechargeable USB headlamp that delivers a balanced mix of a focused 150-lumen beam, wide ambient light, and a night-safe red beam in a waterproof, ultra-lightweight package.

Designed for everyday adventures and chores, the Quokka 150 blends comfort, convenience and practical beam options into a silicone-bodied headlamp that weighs just 48 grams. Its integrated USB-A connector removes the need for charging cables, and the adjustable strap fits head sizes from 30–66 cm. With a 20 m beam and multiple LEDs positioned for distinct tasks, this teal KNOG headlamp works for camping, late-night tasks, walking the dog and quick repairs.

How does the KNOG Quokka 150 perform in real-world visibility?

The Quokka 150 uses dedicated LEDs for specific lighting tasks: a high-beam for focused sight, a wide beam for general area illumination, and a red light to preserve night vision. Together they create a versatile lighting solution for close-up jobs or seeing down a trail.

• 150-lumen high-beam for distance and detail
• Wide beam spreads ambient light for nearby tasks
• Red LED preserves night vision for map reading or campsite use
• Approximately 20 m effective beam length for typical outdoor needs

How easy is it to charge and maintain the headlamp?

Charging is simple: the lamp pod pops out of the strap and plugs straight into any USB-A port—no cable required. A full charge takes about 3.5 hours, and the silicone finish is dirt- and water-resistant for straightforward cleaning and low maintenance.

• Integrated USB-A connector for cable-free recharging
• Full recharge in roughly 3.5 hours
• Matte silicone body resists grime and is easy to wipe clean
• Waterproof construction suitable for wet conditions (per product rating)

Will the Quokka fit comfortably during long wear?

At only 48 g and with an adjustable strap, the Quokka is engineered to sit flush and balanced on heads sized 30–66 cm, minimizing bounce and pressure points. The soft silicone strap avoids hair tangling and stays comfortable during extended use.

• Ultra-light 48 g body reduces fatigue during long use
• Adjustable strap fits most adult head sizes (30–66 cm)
• Low-profile pod sits close to the head for balance and stability
• Silicone strap and casing prevent tangling and add durability

What practical features help in daily and outdoor use?

Beyond the lighting modes and charging convenience, the Quokka includes a lock mode to prevent accidental activation and a robust silicone finish to handle rough handling. These small details make it well suited for travel, outdoor activities and everyday carry.

• Mode lock reduces accidental battery drain in packs or bags
• Durable silicone case plus waterproofing for versatile use
• Compact form factor easily stows in pockets or packs
• Multiple LEDs arranged for task-specific lighting scenarios
