D·D DYNAMIC DISCS Retro Burst Disc Golf Starter Set 3 Pack Keystone, Fuse, Ballista — grippy understable

Three forgiving Retro Burst discs — a Keystone putter, Fuse midrange and Ballista fairway — bundled as an easy-to-throw starter set for newer to intermediate players.

This Latitude 64 Retro Burst 3-pack combines approachable flight shapes and a tactile baseline plastic designed to give beginners confidence on the tee, fairway and green. Each disc arrives in the Retro Burst plastic that offers a firm feel, strong grip in varied conditions and a visual burst finish. The set is tuned to fly understable out of the box and will continue to beat in over time, making it a lasting option as your technique improves.

What discs are included and how do they fly?

The pack contains three distinct molds covering putting, midrange control and fairway distance. Each disc is chosen to provide straight-to-understable flight for easier turnovers and reliable glide for newer players learning lines.

• Keystone (putter) — flight numbers ~2, 5, -1, 1: high glide, straight approach and soft landings.
• Fuse (midrange) — ~5, 6, -1, 0: understable straight midrange for controlled hyzer-flips and turnover shots.
• Ballista (fairway/fairway driver) — ~9, 7, -1, 2: speed-focused fairway driver for longer drives with manageable fade.

How does Retro Burst plastic affect performance and feel?

Retro Burst is Latitude 64’s baseline plastic that balances affordability and playability. It’s firm but has a grippy texture that handles damp or dry conditions well and is built to break in faster than premium blends.

• Fast break-in leads to more understable handling over time.
• Consistent grip across weather for reliable release and putting confidence.
• Aesthetic burst stamp gives a clear visual while remaining functional.

Are these discs right for beginners progressing to intermediate play?

Yes — the set targets players who have learned fundamentals and want discs that reward incremental power and technique gains. The understable bias reduces resistance on turnover shots and hyzer-flips, helping players shape flight paths without overworking form.

• Great for players transitioning from loaner discs to a personal set.
• Discs fly predictably for learning shot shaping and distance control.
• Weights generally between 170–176g for easier toss and consistency.

What should I expect about weight, colors, and durability?

Discs in this Retro Burst 3-pack typically arrive in the 170–176g range, offering lighter feel and easier turnover. Color and stamp vary by production run, and the Retro plastic provides solid durability while intentionally wearing in to a more understable profile.

• Weight range supports longer throws for players with developing arm speed.
• Color and stamp will differ between sets; visual variety is normal.
• Durability is good for baseline plastic but designed to evolve with play.

Who this pack is for: players who have the basics down and want a cohesive, affordable set that covers putting, midrange control and fairway distance. It’s ideal for newer players learning to shape lines, casual competitors wanting reliable practice discs, and anyone who prefers a grippy baseline plastic that becomes more understable as it breaks in.
