LIFETIME Fixed-Height Mounting Bracket Mounting Kit, 3.5" Round Pole Compatible, Powder-Coated Steel

The LIFETIME 9594 Fixed-Height Mounting Bracket secures a Lifetime backboard-and-rim combo to a 3.5" round pole, wall, or roof for durable, weather-resistant play.

Ready to add a permanent hoop to your driveway, yard, or home exterior, the LIFETIME 9594 mounting bracket is a heavy-duty steel plate engineered for fixed-height installations. Powder-coated to resist rust and outdoor wear, it’s built specifically for LIFETIME brand backboards and designed to work with multiple mounting surfaces. Hardware for attaching to walls or roofs is not included, giving you flexibility to choose fasteners that match your structure and local building codes.

How does this bracket attach to a 3.5" round pole, wall, or roof?

The bracket features a universal plate and bolting pattern intended for a 3.5" round pole, and it can also be adapted for wall or roof mounting with appropriate fasteners. Because building materials vary, the kit supplies only the mounting plate hardware for the board; you’ll need to supply anchors or lag bolts specific to your surface.

• Attaches directly to a 3.5" round pole with included bracket bolts.
• Wall or roof mounting requires separate fasteners (not included).
• 9.5" backboard offset for correct rim projection from the surface.

What backboards and rim systems are compatible with the 9594 bracket?

This mounting bracket is manufactured for use with LIFETIME brand backboards and rim combos only. Backboard-and-rim kits are sold separately, and LIFETIME customer service can confirm compatibility before purchase. Note that model 9594 and model 1044 mounting kits are not interchangeable.

• Compatible only with LIFETIME backboards; confirm model fit first.
• Backboard and rim come as separate purchases—this is the bracket only.
• Different LIFETIME mounting models are not cross-compatible.

What should I know about weather resistance and durability?

The bracket arrives powder-coated to help protect the steel against rust and outdoor exposure, extending service life through seasons of use. Its heavy-duty construction is intended for regular recreational play but always inspect fasteners periodically and re-tighten as needed. Avoid mounting to brick without appropriate structural assessment.

• Powder-coated finish resists corrosion and fading.
• Solid steel plate supports typical residential play and outdoor conditions.
• Avoid direct attachment to brick without proper anchors and support.

Who is this for? The LIFETIME 9594 Fixed-Height Mounting Bracket is aimed at homeowners and property managers who already have—or plan to buy—a LIFETIME backboard-and-rim combo and want a fixed, durable mounting solution for a 3.5" round pole, wall, or roof. It’s ideal for families, schools, or community spaces that need a permanent, weather-resistant bracket but are prepared to select location-appropriate hardware during installation. If you need a telescoping or height-adjustable system, consider other LIFETIME models; if you’re pairing with a LIFETIME backboard and want a straightforward fixed mount, this bracket provides a rugged, long-lasting platform for backyard games and practice sessions.
