Louisville Slugger Youth batting gloves, Purple, Size Small — breathable grip, neoprene cuff

The Louisville Slugger Youth Genuine 2.0 Batting Gloves in Purple deliver breathable comfort, a grippy synthetic palm and an easy-adjust neoprene cuff for young hitters.

Updated from the original Genuine model, these youth-sized batting gloves are built to balance feel and durability for players just starting or refining their swing. The design focuses on airflow, flexibility and a palm material that withstands repeated use without sacrificing tactile feedback on the bat handle. Whether used for practice or game day, the gloves aim to help young athletes maintain a consistent grip and greater confidence at the plate.

How do these gloves improve grip and contact?

The synthetic palm is engineered to provide a secure contact surface that resists premature wear while preserving bat feel. That combination helps players keep a steady hold through swings, cut down on slippage and maintain better control of the bat.

• Synthetic palm for durable, consistent grip
• Thin palm profile to retain tactile feedback
• Secure fit via neoprene cuff reduces shifting on impact

Will the gloves stay comfortable during long practices?

Comfort is prioritized with a perforated backhand and Lycra gussets that boost flexibility where hands bend and flex most. The breathable construction helps manage heat and sweat so hands stay drier for longer sessions.

• Perforated backhand increases airflow and cooling
• Lycra gussets allow natural hand movement
• Soft inner lining prevents chafing during repeated swings

How easy are they to put on, adjust, and maintain?

The neoprene cuff simplifies on-field adjustments and provides a snug, reliable closure without bulky straps. Cleaning is straightforward—brush off dirt after use and air-dry to keep the synthetic palm performing well over time.

• Neoprene cuff for quick, secure adjustments
• Low-maintenance synthetic materials resist heavy soiling
• Compact profile fits easily under batting sleeves or alone

What sizing and fit features should parents expect?

This listing is for the youth small size, designed to fit junior hands with a closer cut than adult models. The Lycra gussets and neoprene cuff work together to accommodate growth and offer a snug yet flexible fit for emerging players.

• Youth small sizing for younger players
• Stretch panels adapt to hand shape for secure fit
• Designed to reduce bulk while maintaining protection
