Maddog Cronus Tactical .68 Caliber Paintball Marker Kit, Tan HPA Package with 48ci HPA Tank & 10" Barrel

The Maddog Cronus Tactical .68 Caliber HPA Package is a ready-to-play semi-automatic paintball marker kit that includes the gun, refillable 48 ci HPA tank, loader, full-face mask, harness, pods and cleaning tools.

This silver Cronus Tactical starter package from Maddog bundles the essentials for recreational and entry-level competitive paintball players who want one purchase that covers safety, air, ammunition feed, and on-field storage. The marker itself uses a lightweight composite body with a 10-inch ported barrel and .68 caliber compatibility; the package pairs that marker with a 48 ci, 3,000 psi aluminum HPA tank, a 200-round loader, a certified anti-fog mask, pod harness, and cleaning tools so you can step onto the field quickly after filling the tank and loading paintballs.

How does the Cronus Tactical marker perform for beginners and casual players?

The Cronus Tactical is designed for approachable handling and predictable semi-automatic fire. Its in-line bolt layout and fixed sights simplify aiming and cycling so new players spend less time on setup and more time practicing fundamentals.

• .68 caliber bore compatible with standard recreational paintballs
• 10-inch ported barrel for balanced accuracy and noise control
• Lightweight composite frame with molded rubber grips for comfort
• Four Picatinny rails for adding optics or grips later

What safety and maintenance items are included, and how do they help on the field?

This kit emphasizes field safety and upkeep with a full-face, single-pane anti-fog mask, barrel squeegee, and a 4+1 pod harness that holds spare pods. Those items reduce risk, make breaks for cleaning quick, and keep spare paint accessible during matches or rec plays.

• Safety-certified full-face mask with anti-fog pane and adjustable strap
• Barrel squeegee for fast in-field cleaning of paint or debris
• 4+1 harness carrying over 500 rounds—four pods plus one in-line
• Four pods included so you can reload without returning to base

How long will the HPA tank last and what are refill details?

The included 48 ci aluminum tank is rated to 3,000 psi and delivers roughly 450–800 shots per fill depending on firing rate and efficiency. The tank ships empty for safe transport and must be filled at an HPA fill station or paintball field before use; colors and specific tank brands may vary.

• 48 cubic inch capacity, aluminum construction for lighter carry
• 3,000 psi rated pressure—refill at certified stations only
• Estimated 450–800 shots per fill based on marker tuning and cadence
• Ships empty; fill required prior to first game

What customization or upgrades are possible with this package?

The Cronus Tactical accepts common aftermarket parts and accessories thanks to A5 barrel threads and multiple Picatinny rails. Players who want to tune accuracy, add optics, or fit comfort upgrades can do so gradually while keeping the included components for standard play.

• A5 threaded barrel accepts a wide range of aftermarket barrels and backs
• Four Picatinny rails for vertical grips, lights, or sighting options
• Cronus Tactical parts available separately for internal or exterior upgrades
• Standard loader and HPA fittings compatible with many field systems
