Marucci Blacksmith Full WRAP Youth Batting Glove V2, White/White, Youth Medium - Goatskin Palm, Wrist Support

The Marucci Blacksmith Full WRAP Youth Batting Glove V2 is a heavy-duty youth batting glove built like a work glove to deliver long-lasting protection, grip, and wrist support for intensive training and game use.

Designed for players who spend serious time in the cage or at the tee, this youth-sized glove borrows construction cues from rugged workman's gloves to resist abrasion and extend service life. It combines a digitally embossed goatskin palm, targeted padding, an extended index-finger wrap, and a full elastic wrist wrap to balance durability, grip, and comfort during repeated swings.

How does the Blacksmith V2 improve grip and durability?

The glove uses a digitally embossed goatskin palm that increases surface friction and resists wear during heavy batting practice. Strategic padding zones reinforce areas prone to abrasion without adding bulk that interferes with feel.

• Digitally embossed goatskin palm for higher friction and durability
• Reinforced padding in high-wear zones to delay breakdown
• Extended leather wrap on index finger for extra abrasion resistance

Will the wrist wrap support still allow natural movement?

The Full WRAP elastic wristband is built to enhance structure and stabilize the wrist while preserving mobility. Elastic construction follows wrist motion so players retain a natural swing while getting additional support during high-repetition practice.

• Fully wrapping elastic band for improved wrist structure
• Designed to reinforce wrist strength without restricting motion
• Secure fit that minimizes slippage during swings

Is the glove comfortable for long batting sessions?

A high-strength stretch knit fabric on the backhand provides breathable stretch where you need it most, while the goatskin palm and targeted padding keep the hand comfortable through long cages or tee work. The combination maintains tactile feedback so youngsters can feel the bat while staying protected.

• Stretch knit back for breathability and flexible fit
• Padded palm areas that preserve bat feel and control
• Leather and fabric blend that balances protection with comfort

How is sizing and protection tailored for youth players?

The youth medium sizing is proportioned for adolescent hands with features scaled to protect without overwhelming small frames. The extended index-finger leather wrap and reinforced palm zones are placed to match common contact points for younger hitters.

• Youth medium cut scaled for adolescent hand shapes
• Extended index-finger wrap positioned for youth swing contact
• Durability features scaled to handle long practice sessions

Who is this for: The Marucci Blacksmith Full WRAP Youth Batting Glove V2 suits young hitters who log frequent batting-practice time and need a glove that stands up to hard use while protecting key contact areas. It’s a smart pick for youth players, travel teams, and anyone focused on repetitive cage or tee work who wants enhanced abrasion resistance, reliable grip, and wrist support without sacrificing feel.
