Meguiar's Extreme Marine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant 32 oz, Vinyl & Rubber Protectant, UV Protection and Non-Greasy Finish

Meguiar's M1801 Extreme Marine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant is a one-step spray formula that cleans, restores gloss, and helps shield vinyl and rubber from UV damage on boats and RVs.

Designed for marine and recreational vehicles, this 32 oz protectant combines light cleaning with lasting protection so vinyl seats, dash trim, and rubber weatherstrips look refreshed and resist sun-caused drying. The fast-spray application wipes on and off without leaving a heavy, greasy residue, making it a convenient finishing step after deeper cleaning. Use it after heavier-duty cleaners for ongoing maintenance that keeps surfaces looking bright and supple.

How do I apply this protectant for best results?

Application is quick and straightforward: spray the formula onto the surface or a clean microfiber towel, then wipe evenly and buff any excess. Allow a few minutes for the product to settle before light use, and repeat periodically for maintained protection.

• Spray directly or onto a towel for controlled application
• Wipe thoroughly to remove dirt and distribute product
• Buff lightly to remove any excess and enhance sheen
• Reapply every few weeks or after heavy sun exposure

What surfaces can I safely use it on?

This protectant is formulated for vinyl and most rubber surfaces common in boats and RVs, including seating, trim, and seals. Avoid painted, fabric, or porous untreated materials unless tested in an inconspicuous area first.

• Vinyl boat seats and cockpit surfaces
• RV interiors: benches, vinyl upholstery, and trim
• Rubber seals, gaskets, and weatherstripping
• Not recommended for fabrics, glass, or glossy painted panels

Will it leave a greasy residue or alter traction?

The formula is designed to produce a clean gloss without a heavy, slippery film. When applied correctly and buffed, it restores shine while keeping surfaces comfortable and safe to touch.

• Wipes off cleanly with a microfiber towel
• No sticky or tacky after-feel when excess is removed
• Maintains grip on seat areas when used sparingly
• Best to buff thoroughly on high-contact areas

Who is this for? Boat owners, RV enthusiasts, outdoor vehicle detailers, and anyone who wants an easy maintenance step to protect vinyl and rubber from sun exposure will find this product useful. It suits people who prefer a rapid, no-fuss application that combines light cleaning with protective UV benefit, perfect as a finishing touch after deeper cleaning products. If you require gentle upkeep that leaves surfaces bright, tack-free, and more resistant to drying or premature aging, Meguiar's Extreme Marine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant is formulated for that purpose.
