Snail Military Challenge Coin Display Case, Matt Black, Lockable Wood Cabinet with Real Glass & Velvet Felt

Snail’s lockable wooden display cabinet safely showcases military challenge coins, medals and small collectibles behind real glass with anti-theft security.

This Snail Military Challenge Coin Display Case is a lockable, wall-mountable wooden cabinet built for long-term display and protection. Finished in a matte black, the cabinet uses a real glass door, velvet-like felt backing, and a gold-plated anti-theft lock to protect coins, pins and medals from dust, handling and light exposure. With removable shelves and a two-groove shelf design, the unit adapts to a range of coin sizes and other compact memorabilia.

How does this case protect coins from damage and fading?

The display combines multiple protective features: a scratch-resistant real glass front, velvet-like felt lining to prevent abrasion, and 98% UV protection in the glass to reduce fading from natural light. The gold-plated anti-theft lock and sturdy solid-wood frame keep items secure and limit unwanted handling.

• Real glass door resists scratches and provides clear viewing
• 98% UV protection helps preserve finishes and colors
• Velvet-like felt backing cushions and pins items securely
• Gold-plated lock prevents casual access

Can the shelves be adjusted for different coin sizes or medals?

Yes — the cabinet includes removable middle shelves and a two-groove shelf design to accommodate a variety of items. You can remove alternate shelves to create up to 4.25 inches of vertical space for taller collectibles, or use standard rows for small and large coins.

• Removable middle shelves for flexible spacing
• Two-groove shelf layout increases display capacity per row
• Rows primarily spaced at 2" or 2.25", expandable to 4.25" when needed

How easy is it to mount, install and secure this display on a wall?

The cabinet arrives ready for wall mounting and includes two upgraded metal brackets on the back for straightforward installation. Strong packaging protects the unit in transit, and the metal brackets are sized for typical mounting hardware used in drywall or studs.

• Two metal brackets pre-installed for wall hanging
• Solid wood frame offers a stable mount once secured
• Foam-surrounded packaging protects the cabinet during shipping
