Mizuno F6 Fastpitch Batting Helmet with Mask, Black, Size Small-Medium — Lightweight Honeycomb ABS, Drylite Liner

The Mizuno F6 Fastpitch Batting Helmet with Mask is a lightweight, female-engineered softball helmet that combines an ABS honeycomb shell, EVA foam core, and Drylite® liner for protective comfort at the plate.

Built specifically for fastpitch softball players, this helmet pairs a durable matte ABS exterior with an energy-absorbing EVA foam interior to balance protection and comfort. The Honeycomb Shell pattern reduces weight without sacrificing structural integrity, while the Drylite® moisture-wicking liner helps keep the fit dry during long practices and games. It ships with pre-marked holes for easy mask installation and is sized Small/Medium in a classic black finish.

How does the F6 helmet manage protection without feeling heavy?

The helmet uses a honeycomb-patterned ABS shell to maintain strength while cutting excess material and weight. Inside, an EVA foam core cushions impacts and stabilizes the head, creating a combination that feels lighter on the field yet still resists force.

• Honeycomb Shell pattern reduces overall weight
• Durable ABS plastic resists cracking and wear
• EVA foam inner core absorbs impact energy
• Matte finish minimizes glare and scuffs

What comfort features help during long innings or training?

Comfort comes from the helmet’s shaped EVA core and the Drylite® liner that moves moisture away from skin. The fit is contoured for the female athlete, and the Small/Medium sizing is intended to suit a range of player head sizes without excessive movement.

• Drylite® liner wicks sweat for a drier feel
• Contoured interior supports prolonged wear
• Lightweight shell reduces neck strain over time
• Pre-marked holes allow mask adjustments for fit

Can I attach or replace a face mask on this helmet?

Yes—this model includes pre-marked hole locations for straightforward mask attachment or replacement. The marked guides make it easier to align hardware and mounting points, cutting down installation time and ensuring consistent placement.

• Pre-marked hole locations speed up mask installation
• Compatible with common fastpitch mask hardware
• Guides reduce risk of misaligned mounting holes
• Mask-ready design supports player preferences

What size and finish options does the F6 offer for teams and players?

This listing is for the Small/Medium size in a solid black matte finish, chosen to limit reflective glare and maintain a clean aesthetic on the field. Mizuno engineered the shell shape and liner specifically for the female fastpitch athlete to improve fit and comfort across head shapes.

• Small/Medium sizing tailored for many youth and adult players
• Matte black finish reduces shine and visible wear
• Gender-engineered interior shape for fastpitch players
• Lightweight design simplifies team outfitting
