Mr. Assist is a compact stick-mounted rebounder that returns your pass so you can practice passing, receiving, and stickhandling alone, indoors or outside.
Designed by former NHL defenseman Jeff Serowik, this trainer straps to your stick and uses a low-friction puck plus a long bungee to simulate realistic rebounds without a partner. The unit’s raised contact points reduce drag so the puck glides on concrete, garage floors, shooting pads or ice. Everything about the design focuses on repeatable reps, quick attachment, and durability—plus a spare bungee and simple replacement tool are included.
It gives you immediate, consistent feedback by returning the puck to your blade so you can practice both forehand and backhand passes repeatedly. That constant rebound develops timing, hand-eye coordination, soft hands and puck control under various speeds.
The trainer is built to take thousands of reps. The nylon hook-and-loop strap secures tightly and the included spare bungee plus replacement tool make mid-session swaps quick and painless.
Mr. Assist is designed to glide on many common training surfaces so you can practice year-round. Its low-friction contact points let the puck slide on indoor floors, driveways and ice, giving you flexibility to train wherever you have space.
Attachment is simple and tool-free for most users—wrap the strap around the lower shaft and secure. It fits nearly every common stick profile for players ages six and up and works for left- or right-handed blades.
Who is this for? Players who want focused solo reps—youth skaters, competitive juniors, adults sharpening touch, and coaches or parents looking for an easy-training tool. Because it’s portable and rugged, Mr. Assist suits rink warmups, driveway drills, and basement stickhandling sessions. If your goal is more consistent passing, quicker hands, and the ability to practice without a partner, this compact rebounder is built to provide repeatable, game-relevant reps.
