Nite Ize Radiant StarLit Rechargeable 200-Lumen Lantern with 23ft Disc-O Select Multicolor String (White) – USB-C, IPX4/IPX7

The Nite Ize Radiant StarLit is a rechargeable 200-lumen lantern with a 23-foot Disc-O Select multicolor string light, combining handheld illumination and decorative outdoor lighting in one weather-ready kit.

Whether you need reliable task light on a campsite table or a colorful accent across a patio, this two-in-one set delivers portable brightness and mood lighting. The lantern houses a powerful white LED and four color-change modes while the flexible 23' string contains roughly 70 patented LEDs that cycle through solid colors, pulses, twinkles, and chase sequences. Built for outdoor use, the system balances runtime, recharge convenience, and durable water protection so you can focus on experiences rather than batteries.

How bright is the lantern and how long will it run?

The integrated lantern delivers up to 200 lumens of white light—enough for cooking, reading, or illuminating a group tent. Runtime depends on mode and whether you run the string lights simultaneously, but you can expect multi-hour use on a single charge.

• 200 lumens maximum output for the lantern
• Up to about 3 hours lantern-only runtime on high
• String-light-only operation can extend runtime to roughly 6.5 hours
• Charge via included USB-C cable in about 2.5 hours

What lighting effects and colors does the Disc-O Select string offer?

The 23' string uses Disc-O Select Technology to present vivid solid colors—amber, red, green, and blue—as well as dynamic color-change modes. Choose from classic steady colors or animated sequences to set ambiance for gatherings or decorative displays.

• Approximately 70 patented LEDs along a flexible 23-foot strand
• Solid color options: amber, red, green, blue
• Four color-change modes: Classic Disc-O, Pulse, Twinkle, Chase
• Hand-crank storage on the lantern base for tidy winding

How weatherproof and durable are the lantern and string lights?

The set is engineered for outdoor environments with differing protection levels tailored to each component. The string lights are fully waterproof for short immersion, while the lantern is water-resistant to guard against splashes and light rain.

• Lantern rated IPX4 water-resistant for splash protection
• String lights rated IPX7 waterproof for immersion resilience
• Rugged housing and sealed LED nodes designed for outdoor use
• Compact, portable design with durable winding system

How do I recharge, store, and operate the lights?

Charging is simple with the included USB-C cable; a full recharge completes in about 2.5 hours and you can use the lights while charging. The lantern incorporates a bottom hand crank to neatly wind the 23' string and the unit is compact for stowing in gear bags or on shelf hooks.

• Included USB-C cable for fast, reversible charging
• Can be illuminated while connected to power
• Bottom-mounted hand crank stores the string cleanly
• Lightweight and portable for travel, backyard, or indoor use
