Notch Zero Throw Weight 14oz — Lead-Free Stainless Steel Ballast, Hi-Viz Cordura for Durable Practice

Notch Zero Throw Weight 14oz (NTW2-14) is a high-visibility, lead-free throwing weight built with stainless steel ballast and reinforced 1000 Cordura for durable, accurate practice and retrieval work.

This compact, color-coded 14oz throwing weight was engineered to give anglers and water professionals a safer alternative to lead while keeping predictable flight characteristics and easy identification. The hi-viz pattern and graphic side design make it quick to spot on water or shoreline, and the welded ring plus extra stitching provide secure attachment points for repeated casts.

How does the Notch Zero improve safety and environmental impact?

The Notch Zero uses stainless steel internal weights instead of lead to reduce toxicity risk if lost in water or handled frequently. The materials are chosen to balance density and performance while meeting preferences for lead-free tackle.

• Stainless steel ballast replaces lead for a safer alternative.
• Durable 1000 Cordura resists tears and abrasion from rocks and sand.
• Welded ring secures connection points to reduce failure during retrieval.
• Limited lifetime warranty covers material and workmanship defects.

What visibility and identification features does this throw weight offer?

The Notch Zero is finished in a hi-viz color pattern that doesn’t occur in nature, making it easier to find after a cast. Clear color coding by weight helps you instantly pick the correct size for the job without measuring.

• Hi-viz graphic side design increases visibility on water and shoreline.
• Distinct color code denotes 14oz weight for quick selection.
• Graphic pattern reduces search time in low-light or cluttered conditions.

How durable and dependable is the construction for repeated use?

Notch prioritized longevity by using extra-stitched 1000 Denier Cordura and a welded ring for stress points. These upgrades protect the internal stainless steel weights and extend the working life under frequent throwing and retrieval cycles.

• Extra stitching reinforces seams against high-load strains.
• 1000 Cordura provides abrasion resistance and tear strength.
• Welded ring minimizes hardware failures at attachment points.

How do anglers and retrieval teams use the 14oz size effectively?

The 14oz Notch Zero is sized to offer a balance of castability and sink rate for medium-distance retrievals or target practice. It’s useful for training, search-and-retrieve drills, and applications where a compact, visible weight is needed.

• Great for medium-range casts where control and visibility matter.
• Commonly used in retrieval training and target practice scenarios.
• Compact form works well with lighter lines and controlled retrieves.
