O'Brien Infant Neoprene life jacket, USCG-Approved Pink, 0–30 lb, Soft Biolite Foam for Baby

Designed for the smallest water explorers, the O'Brien Infant Neoprene Life Jacket combines proven buoyancy materials with a gentle, flexible outer layer so infants can safely join family aquatic activities. Lightweight neoprene and strategically placed flotation panels deliver support without restricting movement, while adjustable straps and built-in head support maintain a secure fit during play and short swims.

How does this life jacket keep an infant safe in the water?

The jacket uses a foam core and targeted buoyancy panels to support an infant’s torso and help keep the head above water. Its design balances flotation and mobility so a child remains in a stable, face-up position while allowing natural arm and leg movement.

• US Coast Guard approval for infant size range (0–30 lb)
• Internal Biolite foam core that resists waterlogging
• Strategic buoyancy panels around the chest and back
• Raised head support to aid staying face-up

Will it fit my baby and stay in place during activity?

Yes—this model includes adjustable waist and leg straps so you can customize the fit as your infant moves or grows within the 0–30 lb range. Quick-release buckles and a snug neoprene shell keep the jacket from riding up while being easy for parents to put on and remove.

• Adjustable waist and leg straps for a tailored fit
• Secure buckles that lock the jacket in place
• Flexible neoprene for a close, comfortable wrap around the body
• Designed to reduce shifting during boating or pool play

How comfortable and durable is the jacket for repeated use?

The outer neoprene layer is breathable and soft against delicate skin, so infants can wear it for longer periods without chafing. Inside, durable Biolite foam maintains buoyancy session after session, and the construction tolerates exposure to freshwater, pool chlorine, and typical outdoor wear.

• Soft neoprene exterior for gentle contact with skin
• Breathable, flexible materials for comfort during movement
• Long-lasting Biolite foam that holds buoyancy over time
• Materials and seams built to withstand regular water use

For which activities is this infant life jacket best suited?

This life jacket is made for supervised recreational water use including lakes, calm coastal areas, pools, and family boating trips. It’s ideal when caregivers need reliable flotation and easy on/off functionality for short swims or shore-side adventures.

• Family boating where infants need approved flotation
• Pool sessions with adult supervision
• Calm lakes and protected water zones
• Beach or dock play where brief flotation is required
