OutdoorMaster MIPS Bike Helmet, Black, Size Medium — Lightweight 26-Vent Youth Cycling Helmet

OutdoorMaster MIPS Bike Helmet is a lightweight, vented adult cycling helmet with MIPS rotational-impact protection, two removable liners, and a fully adjustable fit for road, mountain, and urban riding.

This helmet combines the MIPS safety layer with a roomy adjustment system and 26 vents so you get protection, airflow, and comfort whether you commute, train, or ride off-road. It weighs only about 278 g, includes two removable inner pads for cleaning or season changes, and fits most adult heads from 50 to 62 cm using a three-way adjustment with a 360° dial and adjustable side straps.

How does the MIPS system help in everyday riding?

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is an internal low-friction layer designed to reduce some rotational forces that can occur in angled impacts. It does not prevent all injuries but is an added design element intended to improve energy management in certain crash scenarios.

• Internal slip-plane allows limited relative movement during oblique impacts
• Integrated into the helmet without affecting ventilation or fit
• Works alongside the EPS shell and outer polycarbonate for multi-layer protection

Will this helmet fit my head and stay comfortable on long rides?

The OutdoorMaster helmet offers a wide sizing range (50–62 cm) and a refined adjustment system so you can dial in a secure, comfortable fit. Soft, removable pads and an adjustable chin strap help reduce pressure points while the 26 vents maintain airflow to limit overheating.

• 3-way adjuster with 360° dial for precise circumference control
• Height-adjustable harness to position the helmet correctly on the head
• Two removable liners let you swap or wash pads for hygiene and seasonal comfort

How well does this helmet perform in different cycling environments?

This model is built as a versatile option for road cycling, mountain trails, commuting, and micro-mobility like e-scooters. The aerodynamic shell and 26 vents balance airflow and drag control, while the light weight keeps neck fatigue low during long outings.

• Designed for multi-environment use: road, MTB light trails, commuting, and skate-style riding
• Streamlined profile reduces wind resistance on faster rides
• Durable outer shell and secure retention for mixed-terrain stability

How do I find the correct size and care for the helmet?

Measure head circumference about 1 inch (2.5 cm) above the eyebrows to choose between 50–62 cm sizing. The removable liners make cleaning straightforward: take pads out, hand wash gently, and air dry before reinserting.

• Measure with a tape or string around the largest part of your head
• Use the 360° dial and strap adjustments to fine-tune fit once on your head
• Remove liners for washing and inspect shell after impacts for damage

Who is this for? The OutdoorMaster MIPS Bike Helmet is aimed at riders who want a single, lightweight helmet for varied activities — commuters, road cyclists, recreational mountain bikers, and anyone using an e-scooter or skateboard who values ventilation, an adjustable universal fit, and the added MIPS rotational layer. It suits adults and older youth whose head measurements fall within the 50–62 cm range and who prefer removable pads for hygiene and seasonal comfort.
