Performance Golf 357 Fairway Hybrid 21° Loft Right Hand Soft Flex High-Launch Forgiving Design

The Performance Golf 357 Fairway Hybrid (21°) is a patented tri-fusion fairway hybrid that blends 3-wood distance with 7-wood launch and delivers forgiving, high-launch shots for golfers with moderate to slower swing speeds.

This club was engineered to make approach shots easier: a progressive clubhead, stability rails, and a fast-face design work together so you get cleaner contact, more ball speed, and softer landings on the green. The 21° loft and Load N Lag shaft are optimized to help players get the ball airborne without extra effort, while features like the Power Scoop Crown and Bulldozer-shaped sole reduce digging from most lies.

How does the 357 Fairway Hybrid improve contact from uneven lies?

The club’s Progressed Clubhead profile clears turf and debris before impact, promoting ball-first strikes even when your swing isn’t perfect. Dual Stability Rails on the sole keep the head tracking square through contact to avoid twisting or digging.

• Progressed Clubhead ("Bulldozer") sheds grass and dirt ahead of the face
• Dual Stability Rails prevent digging and twisting on off-center strikes
• Shallow sole geometry helps glide through tight or rough lies

Will this hybrid add distance without faster swing speed?

Yes. The 3-wood-sized head uses a Fast Face elastic-effect to increase ball speed at impact, while the Load N Lag shaft stores and releases energy to boost distance without requiring a harder swing. That combination is aimed specifically at golfers who generate moderate clubhead speed.

• Fast Face technology amplifies ball speed on center and near-center hits
• Load N Lag shaft enhances energy transfer for more carry and roll
• 3-wood-sized head keeps forgiveness while maximizing face area

How does this club help the ball stop on the green?

The 21° loft pairs with the Power Scoop Crown to lower the center of gravity and promote a higher, softer-landing trajectory. Higher launch and controlled descent help approach shots hold the green more often than lower-launch options.

• High-launch 7-wood-inspired loft for soft landing angles
• Power Scoop Crown moves CG low for easier launch
• Consistent spin and trajectory for approach control

What craftsmanship and design experience went into this hybrid?

The 357 was created by a club designer with over 35 years in the industry, including three decades working with top touring professionals. The current designer has spent recent years focusing on recreational golfers, applying tour-informed engineering to clubs that are simpler to hit.

• Patented Tri-Fusion technology combining 3-wood power with 7-wood launch
• Design input shaped by decades with elite players and mass-market testing
• Engineering tuned for forgiveness, launch, and consistent turf interaction

Who is this for? The Performance Golf 357 Fairway Hybrid (21°) is aimed at recreational and mid-handicap players who want a single fairway hybrid that performs like a 3-wood in distance but launches and lands like a 7-wood. It’s particularly useful for golfers with moderate or slower swing speeds, players who struggle with clean contact from tight or uneven lies, and anyone seeking a forgiving long-iron alternative that produces higher, softer approach shots.
