PodiuMax 7x4FT Baseball Pitching Screen with U-Shaped Base — 7-ply 600D Mesh, Adjustable Strike Zone

PodiuMax 7x4FT Baseball Pitching Screen is a portable, heavy-duty protective screen that shields pitchers and coaches from line drives while providing an adjustable strike zone for batting practice.

This pitching screen combines reinforced 600D mesh, a 7×4 foot profile, and a U-shaped base engineered for extra stability to deliver a durable training barrier for baseball and softball. Built to survive hard-hit balls and fast pitching drills, the PodiuMax screen is light enough to move between cages, fields, and backyards, yet strong enough to be used in team practice sessions. Quick tool-free setup and included anchoring accessories let you focus on reps rather than assembly.

How does the PodiuMax screen protect pitchers during practice?

The screen uses 7-ply 600D tear-resistant mesh that absorbs impact and resists fraying, designed to take line drives up to high speeds. Its full 7×4 foot face and separate home plate and pitcher’s plate cutouts reduce risk exposure while still allowing realistic pitch placement.

• 7-ply 600D reinforced mesh resists powerful impacts
• Full 7×4FT coverage shields torso and legs
• Home plate and pitcher’s plate openings allow natural pitching angles
• Withstands high-velocity line drives during intense sessions

What makes the U-shaped base more stable than other screens?

The PodiuMax U-shaped base is engineered to be roughly 40% more stable than common flat or tripod bases, reducing tipping during contact. It ships with two sandbags and four ground anchors so you can secure the screen for turf, grass, or gravel surfaces.

• U-shaped frame geometry increases resistance to overturning
• Included sandbags add downward force for wind and impact
• Four ground anchors secure the unit on natural surfaces
• Durable powder-coated frame stands up to outdoor use

Can I adjust the strike zone to match different players?

The screen features an adjustable strike zone that lets coaches and players set height and targeting for various skill levels. That flexibility helps batters practice specific swing planes and allows youth and adult players to use the same screen effectively.

• Height-adjustable strike zone for age and skill customization
• Quick adjustments without tools to switch drills fast
• Works equally well for baseball and softball practice
• Helps isolate swing paths and improve timing during reps

How easy is it to move and set up the PodiuMax screen?

Assembly requires no tools and typically takes under five minutes, making it ideal for field-to-field or backyard-to-cage transitions. Its lightweight frame and compact disassembly fit easily into most vehicles for transport to games or practices.

• Tool-free assembly and quick disassembly in minutes
• Light enough for one or two people to carry comfortably
• Designed to nest in car trunks or team gear bags for travel
• Durable materials for repeated setup and takedown cycles

It fits high school and adult practice routines as well as backyard training for youth players.
