HBGOTL Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet 30 oz 12INx50FT, Extra-Thick 6mm Marine-Grade Protection

HBGOTL Premium Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet is a marine-grade, extra-thick 30 oz carpet strip (12" x 50') designed to protect boat undersides and withstand UV, moisture, and heavy use.

This heavy-duty bunk carpet from HBGOTL replaces thinner, short-lived alternatives with a denser, more resilient material engineered for trailer and onboard use. At approximately 30 ounces and about 6.0 mm thick, the carpet balances cushioning and durability so bunks, boat hulls, jet skis, and floors stay guarded during storage, transport, and regular use. Its marine-grade construction sheds water and resists UV damage, extending functional life compared with lower-weight options.

How does this carpet protect my boat during transport?

The thicker pile cushions contact points and reduces abrasion between the hull and trailer bunks. The sturdy backing holds shape under load to maintain consistent support along the length of the bunk.

• Extra 6.0 mm thickness for better impact absorption
• 30 oz weight offers a denser surface than common 19 oz carpets
• 50-foot length covers multiple bunks without seams
• 12-inch width fits typical 4x2 and 6x2 bunk boards

Will this carpet stand up to sun, salt, and damp conditions?

Yes—HBGOTL's material is formulated for exposure to harsh outdoor conditions. It resists fading and deterioration from UV light and dries quickly to reduce rot and mildew risk compared with non-marine fabrics.

• UV-resistant fibers minimize color loss and weakening
• Fast-draining weave lets water escape rather than soak in
• Marine-grade composition limits mold and mildew growth
• Suitable for freshwater and nearshore saltwater environments when rinsed

How easy is it to install and fit on different trailers?

Installation is straightforward: measure, cut, and staple or glue the carpet to bunk boards. The 12" width and long 50' roll accommodate common bunk sizes and allow trimming for custom setups.

• 50-foot roll reduces need for joint seams on multi-bunk trailers
• 12-inch width suits standard 4x2 and 6x2 bunks without excess waste
• Can be attached with marine staples, adhesive, or mechanically fastened
• Easily trimmed with utility knife or heavy-duty shears for precise fit

Can this product be used for other marine or vehicle flooring needs?

Beyond bunk coverage, the carpet works well anywhere a rugged, slip-resistant surface is helpful, such as boat floors, jet ski pads, or van and trailer interiors. Its quick-drying, durable fibers make it a versatile choice for wet or high-traffic areas.

• Suitable as boat flooring for anti-slip traction and protection
• Useful for jet ski and PWC cradles where padding is required
• Works as van or trailer floor covering for cargo protection
• Can be repurposed for docks, ramps, or workbench padding
