AirBlades Professional Ping Pong Paddle 6 Star, 5-ply Wood Blade with 1.6 mm Rubber

The AirBlades Professional Ping Pong Paddle is a performance-oriented table tennis racket built from five wood layers, premium rubber and sponge, and a patented ergonomic sloped handle, shipped with a water-resistant hard carry case.

Whether you play casually in the garage, competitively at a club, or need a durable travel option for tournaments, this racket blends control, comfort and protection. It pairs a versatile 5-ply blade construction with 1.6 mm inverted rubber and a 2 mm sponge to balance spin and touch, while the signature sloped handle reduces hand fatigue and improves grip consistency across long sessions.

How does the sloped handle change my grip and play?

The patented ergonomic slope handle on this AirBlades paddle is contoured to match the natural curve of your hand. That design stabilizes wrist alignment and lets you maintain a firmer hold without extra tension, helping with precise blocks, steady returns and reliable serves.

• Curved handle profile for reduced wrist strain and better contact.
• Smoother transitions between forehand and backhand grips.
• Lightweight construction preserves maneuverability during rallies.

What kind of feel and control can I expect from the 5-layer wood blade?

AirBlades uses a five-layer wood assembly—two Limba outer plies and three Ayous inner plies—to provide a responsive yet controlled hitting surface. The Limba gives a soft, touch-oriented feel while the Ayous core keeps the blade light and consistent for topspin and placement play.

• Outer Limba plies offer softer feedback for improved ball feel.
• Inner Ayous layers reduce weight while keeping stability.
• Balanced construction for both offensive drives and controlled blocks.

Will this paddle help me generate spin and speed?

The racket’s 1.6 mm high-end inverted rubber combined with a 2 mm sponge provides a middle ground between speed and spin. It’s designed to let intermediate and advanced players execute effective topspin shots without sacrificing control on serves and returns.

• 1.6 mm inverted rubber for reliable grip on the ball.
• 2 mm sponge cushions impact and aids spin generation.
• Versatile setup suits attacking shots and controlled placement.

How does the included carry case protect the racket during travel?

The paddle ships in a custom hard carry case that is water-resistant and shaped to fit the racket snugly. The exterior shields the blade and rubber from impact and moisture, while the interior prevents movement and keeps the handle and face clean between uses.

• Rigid shell absorbs knocks and prevents bending or denting.
• Water-resistant finish protects against light rain and spills.
• Custom interior fit reduces abrasion and preserves rubber life.

It’s particularly suited to intermediate players progressing toward advanced techniques, and to any player who values a comfortable ergonomic handle and a durable travel-ready case.
