Whether you want extra distance, cleaner follow-through, or a more consistent release, this compact trainer gives targeted resistance for the exact motions used in disc golf. It’s designed to be used indoors or outdoors with a door anchor or tree strap, and includes three band resistances plus a grippy practice disc to simulate a real throw without needing a wide field.
The QOGIR trainer provides progressive resistance through the throwing arc so your muscles learn to accelerate and decelerate in the correct sequence. Repeating the motion against resistance builds strength in the pull-through and reinforces proper body positions, helping you avoid common faults like rounding or early arm collapse.
Set up takes seconds: attach the trainer to a door anchor indoors or a tree strap outdoors, select a band, and start repetitions. The system is lightweight and portable, so you can train in a hallway, backyard, or practice field without needing a partner or large space.
Regular short sessions—ten to twenty focused throws several times per week—will help you ingrain better sequencing and build targeted pulling strength. While individual results vary, many players notice improved acceleration, cleaner release timing, and better distance control within a few weeks of consistent practice.
The QOGIR kit contains one grippy practice disc, one 5 lb resistance band, one 10 lb resistance band, a tree strap for outdoor anchoring, and a door anchor for indoor use. The disc uses softer, gripper plastic to feel comfortable in the hand and provide a secure grip through repeated reps.
Who is this for? The QOGIR Resistance Trainer is made for disc golfers wanting to accelerate their learning curve—beginners needing muscle memory for consistent throws, intermediate players working to gain extra controlled distance, and experienced competitors refining pull-through mechanics. If you want targeted throwing practice without a full field, frequent travel training, or a safe way to overload the throwing motion, this trainer fits into your practice routine.
Q: Can I use the QOGIR trainer for both backhand and forehand throws?
A: Yes. The disc-shaped grip and band setup support both backhand and forehand mechanics with the same mounting and band options.
Q: What resistance levels are included and are bands replaceable?
A: The kit includes two bands (about 5 lb and 10 lb equivalents) and the system supports swapping or replacing bands for varied resistance.
