David Hodges' Quick-Clean Pool Table Felt Cleaner Spray – 8 oz Ready-to-Use, Restores Colour & Playing Speed

DAVID HODGES' QUICK-CLEAN THE ORIGINAL 1ST QUALITY spray cleans and restores pool table felt quickly, removing chalk, dust, and grime to improve color and playing speed.

Whether you're maintaining a home game room or servicing a commercial billiards table, this ready-to-use felt cleaner is formulated to be safe on all cloth types while reducing the need for abrasive brushing or repeated vacuuming. It’s designed to refresh older felt, reduce the sticky slide that appears on new cloth, and extend cloth life by minimizing mechanical wear.

How fast will it clean my pool table and what results should I expect?

Quick-Clean is built for rapid results—most standard tables can be refreshed in under a minute when used correctly. Expect clearer, truer ball roll, improved color vibrancy on faded felt, and reduction of surface contaminants that interfere with play.

• Cleans a standard table in less than 60 seconds when applied and brushed lightly.
• Removes chalk, dust, oils, and light stains without soaking the cloth.
• Restores original playing speed and color on many older felts.

Is this product safe for different types and grades of billiard cloth?

Yes—the formula is formulated to be compatible with all commonly used pool cloths and grades. It avoids harsh solvents and abrasive particles so you can maintain felt without accelerating wear.

• Suitable for worsted, wool, and blended felts.
• Non-abrasive chemistry eliminates the need for aggressive brushing or vacuuming.
• Helps prevent the extra wear caused by repeated mechanical cleaning.

How does Quick-Clean extend the life of my pool table felt?

By removing contaminants with a light, protective action rather than heavy brushing or deep vacuum cycles, the product reduces fiber abrasion that shortens cloth life. Regular, gentle maintenance keeps fibers intact and playing characteristics stable.

• Reduces harmful brushing and vacuuming that abrades fibers.
• Can extend felt lifespan by approximately 40–50% with proper routine use.
• Maintains consistent ball roll and reduces the need for frequent replacements.

How should I use this spray for best results?

Spray evenly over the playing surface from a modest distance, work the solution gently into the nap with a soft brush or cloth, then allow to dry briefly. Avoid over-saturating; a light application is enough to dissolve dirt and restore the nap.

• Apply in short bursts across the table, keeping the bottle 8–12 inches away.
• Gently brush with a soft billiard brush following the nap direction.
• Wipe excess with a clean cloth and allow a short drying period before play.

Who is this for? DAVID HODGES' QUICK-CLEAN THE ORIGINAL 1ST QUALITY is ideal for pool hall operators, tournament hosts, and home players who want fast, effective maintenance without risking cloth damage. If you manage multiple tables, provide table servicing, or simply want to keep a single table performing like new with minimal downtime, this spray offers a practical, cloth-safe solution that reduces wear and refreshes appearance and playability.
