RaceFace Grippler Lock-On MTB Grips, Yellow, 33mm — Silicone, Double Clamp for Trail Control

RaceFace Grippler Lock-On Grips in yellow are silicone lock-on mountain bike grips with a ramped, anti-slip profile and double-clamp security for confident control.

These Grippler grips combine a proprietary silicone compound, an ergonomic ramped profile and a dual lock-on system to give riders a comfortable, secure interface with the bars. Offered in multiple diameters, the design balances cushioning and tactile feedback so you can tailor the feel to your riding style. The yellow 33mm version provides a plusher feel under the palm while keeping bar control crisp for trail, enduro, and everyday riding.

How do these grips improve control on technical trails?

The Grippler's anti-slip silicone compound and ramped texture increase contact and reduce unwanted slippage when gripping hard or when your gloves are damp. The ramped grip profile aligns with natural hand placement to spread pressure and improve leverage during climbs and cornering.

• Proprietary silicone boosts tackiness without being overly sticky
• Ramped profile channels hand pressure for stable leverage
• Textured pattern reduces rotational slip under load

Why choose the 33mm diameter instead of the 30mm?

The 33mm width offers a fuller, more cushioned contact patch that absorbs vibration and increases comfort on longer rides. Riders who prefer a softer, less precise feel will appreciate the thicker diameter, while the 30mm option suits those wanting a lower-profile, more direct bar feel.

• 33mm: plusher, better vibration damping and palm support
• 30mm: slimmer, more direct feedback and quicker bar feel
• Choice lets you match grip volume to hand size and riding style

How secure is the double lock-on system during aggressive riding?

The Grippler features a double lock-on clamp system to minimize axial rotation and slippage even under heavy braking or wet conditions. Each end is clamped independently, creating a stable, permanent connection to the handlebar without adhesive or friction sleeves.

• Two metal clamps prevent twist and lateral movement
• Tool-tightened design makes repositioning deliberate and rare
• Compatible with standard 31.8 mm handlebars when installed correctly

How does the material affect comfort with and without gloves?

Silicone provides a balance between compliance and grip; the proprietary compound used in Grippler was tuned to work well with gloves or bare hands. The surface remains comfortable on long descents while retaining enough feedback for precision maneuvers.

• Silicone construction delivers consistent tack across temperatures
• Compound designed to feel comfortable with gloves and bare skin
• Durable material resists tearing and maintains texture over time

Who is this for: The RaceFace Grippler Lock-On Grips (Yellow, 33mm) are aimed at mountain bikers who want a cushioned yet grippy handle with secure locking for aggressive trail and all-mountain use. They suit riders who value comfort on long rides, need reliable anti-slip performance in variable conditions, and want an easy-to-install, durable lock-on solution. Choose the 33mm if you prefer a fuller hand contact; select 30mm for a leaner, more connected feel.
