Designed for competitive fastpitch play, the Rawlings DREAM SEAM ball combines a pro leather cover with 88 red seams and a Poly-X cork core to deliver predictable spin, reliable distance, and a familiar feel for hitters and fielders alike. This 12-count set meets ASA and NFHS approval and comes in the regulation 11-inch diameter favored for youth and adult fastpitch leagues.

How do these balls perform in game situations?

Rawlings engineered the DREAM SEAM to offer consistent bounce, seam visibility, and flight characteristics so players can anticipate trajectory and control the ball during play. The .47 COR rating and 375 lb compression balance liveliness with safety standards used in organized fastpitch competition.

• .47 coefficient of restitution (.47 COR) for regulated rebound and distance
• 375 lb compression for predictable feel off the bat
• 88 red stitches for clear seam visibility on pitches and catches
• Pro leather cover for a familiar grip and long-lasting durability

What materials and construction make the DREAM SEAM durable?

The ball pairs a pro leather outer shell with a Poly-X cork center to resist splitting and maintain roundness after repeated play. Professional-grade stitching and quality control ensure the seams hold tight and the cover endures the rigors of practice and game use.

• Pro leather cover resists scuffing and preserves grip texture
• Poly-X cork center maintains shape and internal integrity
• Precision stitching (88 red stitches) reduces seam separation over time
• Manufactured to ASA/NFHS tolerance levels for consistent quality

Are these softballs league-approved and ready for organized play?

Yes — the Rawlings DREAM SEAM fastpitch balls are approved for ASA and NFHS fastpitch play. They conform to the size, COR and compression parameters required by many youth and adult fastpitch leagues, making them suitable for practices, scrimmages, and official games.

• 11-inch regulation diameter for fastpitch competition
• ASA and NFHS approved for sanctioned league use
• Consistent manufacturing ensures each ball meets playing standards
• Sold as a 12-count set for team practices and game readiness

How should coaches and players use and maintain these balls?

Store the balls in a cool, dry area and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture to preserve the leather and internal core. Rotate balls during practice to even out wear, and replace any ball that shows severe seam separation or deformation to maintain safe play.

• Keep stored away from direct sunlight and damp conditions
• Inspect seams and cover regularly; retire balls with excessive wear
• Use across drills to distribute impact and extend lifespan
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth after muddy or dusty practices

Who is this for: Coaches, league organizers, and competitive fastpitch teams seeking a reliable, regulation-approved 11" game ball will find the Rawlings DREAM SEAM suited to practices and sanctioned games. It’s also a good choice for players who prefer a pro-leather feel, visible red stitching for pitch reading, and consistent COR and compression values in a bulk 12-pack.
