RDX Curved Focus Mitts Maya Hide Leather Boxing Pads Blue, Ventilated Multi-Layer Impact Foam

RDX Curved Maya Hide focus mitts are durable, ergonomically curved hand pads designed to absorb strikes and improve accuracy for boxing, Muay Thai, MMA, and general striking practice.

These focus pads combine tough Maya Hide leather with layered impact foams and a secure hand compartment to give trainers and fighters a reliable target for jab, hook, uppercut and kick work. Built for repeated, heavy use, the mitts prioritize force dispersion, grip stability and ventilation so sessions stay safer and more comfortable.

How do these pads reduce impact for the holder?

The mitts use a multi-layered foam system—EVA Lution plus Polygonal Fusion layers—that spreads strike energy across the pad instead of concentrating it at one point. This lowers rebound and reduces stress on the trainer's hands and wrists during high-volume drills.

• Layered foam architecture disperses force evenly across the pad surface
• Curved striking face improves contact area and reduces mis-hits
• Firm core minimizes extreme recoil for safer catches

What features keep the hand compartment stable and sweat-free?

RDX shaped the interior with a palm dome and added ventilated panels to lock the hand in place while allowing airflow. The Quick EZ Hook and Loop strap locks the wrist for a snug fit and makes taking the mitts on and off fast between rounds.

• Palm Dome design prevents slipping and improves control when absorbing punches
• Perforated areas and sweat-wicking lining reduce moisture buildup
• Hook-and-loop wrist closure provides quick, adjustable security

Are these mitts suitable for kicks and clinch work in Muay Thai or MMA?

Yes—the robust Maya Hide outer material and reinforced padding allow these mitts to handle strikes beyond standard punches, including light to moderate kicks and knees. They’re optimized for pad-work combinations where strikes vary in force and angle.

• Maya Hide exterior resists abrasion from shin and foot contact
• Curved profile accommodates varied striking angles common in clinch drills
• Thick padding protects the holder during mixed-strike training

How do these mitts help coaches and partners train more effectively?

These focus mitts are designed to be a dependable training tool that lets coaches concentrate on technique and timing rather than equipment failure. The balance of grip, padding and ventilation lets longer sessions stay consistent and controlled.

• Reliable construction reduces the need for frequent replacements
• Improved fit and control let coaches present realistic targets
• Ventilation and sweat control keep hands secure and comfortable
