Eberlestock Recon Handwarmer Gray, Detachable Insulated Pouch with Waist Belt and Clip Mount

The Eberlestock Recon Handwarmer (Gray) is a detachable insulated pouch that clips to the Recon Modular Bino Harness to keep hands warm and accessible while sitting or standing.

Designed to integrate with Eberlestock's Recon Modular Bino Harness, this compact handwarmer creates a dedicated, ergonomically positioned pocket for your hands. It fastens beneath the harness so your hands rest naturally while glassing or waiting in a blind, and includes storage for a waist belt and disposable air-activated warmers so you can also use it as a standalone warmer when needed.

How does the Recon Handwarmer attach and stay in place?

The handwarmer fastens to the underside of the Recon Modular Bino Harness using the harness's attachment points, providing stable placement whether you are seated or standing. Its design prevents shifting during movement and keeps hands aligned with your field of view.

• Secure clip-and-loop mounting to Recon Modular Bino Harness
• Low-profile fit that won’t interfere with optics or gear
• Stable position both sitting and standing

Can I use it independently from the Recon harness?

Yes — the front zipper pouch stores a detachable waist belt so you can wear the handwarmer off the harness. There’s also room for disposable air-activated warmers, enabling hands-on heat without the harness attached.

• Included waist belt for standalone use
• Front pocket sized for single-use air-activated warmers
• Zippered storage keeps accessories secure when detached

What comfort and performance features are built in?

The Recon Handwarmer focuses on positioning and insulation to maintain dexterity in cool conditions while minimizing bulk. Materials and construction prioritize a comfortable fit against the hands and reliable warmth during extended glassing sessions.

• Insulated interior to retain hand heat
• Ergonomic shape for natural hand placement
• Durable exterior fabric for field use and easy cleaning

Will it fit other harnesses or gear systems?

While engineered for the Recon Modular Bino Harness, the handwarmer’s attachment hardware and included belt make it adaptable to other setups that accept clip-and-loop or belt-mounted accessories. Fit and stability will vary by system.

• Best compatibility with Recon Modular Bino Harness
• Can be belt-mounted for broader use
• Measure attachment points on other gear for ideal fit

It suits users who value modular, field-ready gear that doubles as a wearable warmer when detached.
