Reebok Volleyball Official Size 5 — Composite Soft-Touch Panels & Butyl Bladder for Comfortable, Durable Play

Reebok's official size 5 volleyball combines a soft-touch composite cover with a rotationally balanced butyl bladder for comfortable, consistent recreational play.

This volleyball is built for everyday use across gym floors, beaches and backyards. Designed with a premium composite outer layer and a durable butyl rubber bladder for stable air retention, it balances grip, rebound and player comfort. The soft-touch panels reduce hand sting and improve control during serving, setting and spiking, making it ideal for beginners, PE classes and casual league matches. It ships with a pump and needle so you can inflate and play right away.

How does the composite cover affect grip and durability?

The composite (synthetic) cover delivers a tacky surface that helps players control the ball on both indoor and outdoor courts. It resists scuffs and wear from repeated use while maintaining a consistent feel as it breaks in.

• Premium synthetic material for improved grip
• Engineered to withstand gym floors and hard outdoor courts
• Reduced surface wear for longer usable life

Will this ball hold air and keep a reliable bounce?

Yes — the ball uses a rotationally balanced butyl rubber bladder that maintains internal pressure for steady bounce and flight. The bladder's stability decreases the need for frequent reinflation so you get predictable performance across practice sessions.

• Butyl bladder for superior air retention
• Rotational balance reduces wobble during serves and spikes
• Comes with pump and needle for easy inflation

Is the soft-touch surface really easier on hands during play?

The soft-touch panel construction is intended to absorb some impact, making serves, digs and receptions more comfortable—especially for newer players. That tactile surface also helps teammates feel better control during setting and passing.

• Responsive texture reduces hand sting
• Improves passing and setting control for learners
• Comfortable enough for extended recreational play
