Remerry Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet 12 Inch x 50 Feet, Black Polyester 6mm Quick-Dry Protective Roll

Remerry Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet is a 12-inch by 50-foot marine-grade polyester bunk cover designed to protect hulls and trailer bunks while providing quick-drying, glue-ready backing.

This heavy-duty replacement bunk carpet from Remerry wraps trailer rails to cushion boats during launching, loading and transport. Made from resilient polyester and finished in black, the roll is thick enough to protect gelcoat and paint yet flexible for easy cutting and installation. The carpet’s backing accepts adhesive or staples and resists water retention, helping keep bunks drier and safer after repeated launches.

How does this carpet protect my boat on the trailer?

The Remerry bunk carpet creates a padded barrier between the hull and metal or wooden bunks to reduce scratches, scuffs and pressure points. Its 6 mm thickness spreads load across the hull, and the soft pile prevents abrasive contact during movement.

• 6 mm (0.24 in) pile cushions hull contact and reduces pressure marks
• Polyester fibers are gentle on gelcoat and painted surfaces
• Full 50 ft length covers multiple bunk runs without seams
• Black color hides grime and looks tidy on trailer frames

Will it stand up to wet launches and saltwater exposure?

Yes — the polyester construction dries quickly and resists water retention so the carpet won't stay saturated after launches. That quick-dry behavior and durable fibers help prevent trapped moisture that can accelerate wear on bunk padding.

• Quick-drying polyester reduces rot and mildew risk
• Designed for frequent wet/dry cycles at launch ramps
• Saltwater-friendly fibers for coastal boat use
• Easy to hose off and let air-dry between uses

How easy is it to fit and secure to my trailer bunks?

The roll arrives in a continuous 12.2-inch by 50-foot length you can cut to match your bunk dimensions. The backing bonds well with marine adhesives and accepts staples or screws through the carpet for a variety of mounting methods.

• 12.2 in width fits most standard bunk boards and rollers
• 50 ft length allows full coverage of long or multi-axle trailers
• Back surface accepts glue, epoxy or staple attachment
• Can be trimmed with utility knife or heavy scissors for a custom fit

What other uses can this marine carpet serve?

Beyond trailer bunks, this versatile carpet works as protective surfacing in many marine and home applications. It performs well where cushioning, slip reduction and water-resistant coverage are needed.

• Dock or pier decking overlays to reduce wear and improve footing
• Garage or workshop anti-scratch surfaces for boats and gear
• Decking for kayaks, jet boats and small craft interiors
• Cushioning for outdoor furniture bases or sliding pedals

Who is this for: Boat owners, trailer builders and marina operators who need an affordable, durable bunk carpet to protect hull finishes and extend trailer life. It's ideal for people replacing worn padding on single- and multi-axle trailers, DIY installers who prefer adhesive or staple attachment, and anyone seeking a quick-drying, easy-to-cut marine carpet for dock or garage projects.
