SEAC Sharp is a compact stainless-steel spearfishing and freediving knife with a 3.54-inch black-coated dagger blade, dual-edge (smooth and serrated), and a double-release scabbard system for ambidextrous use.
Engineered for apnea divers and spearfishers who need a reliable cutting tool that stays secure yet deploys fast, the SEAC Sharp combines corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a low-profile black protective finish. The blade’s dagger profile gives controlled penetration and cutting, while a serrated edge provides extra utility for ropes and fibrous materials. Packaged with a scabbard and two adjustable straps, the knife mounts on the calf or forearm for easy access during dives.
The SEAC Sharp is built from stainless steel with a protective black coating to resist saltwater exposure and reduce glare. Its dagger shape balances thrusting capability with cutting control, and the serrated side adds versatility for tougher materials. The flat handle aids secure grip even with gloves.
The knife’s scabbard uses SEAC’s Double Release System so it can be unhooked and reattached comfortably from either hand and from both sides of the mount. This symmetrical release design speeds deployment in tight or awkward positions and reduces fumbling when time matters. Two straps allow you to position the scabbard on the forearm or calf for the fastest reach during a dive.
The blade measures 3.54 inches (approximately 90 mm), and the overall knife length is 8.07 inches, offering a balance between cutting reach and compact carry. The package contains the knife, a matching scabbard, and two straps for mounting. Regular freshwater rinsing and thorough drying of both knife and scabbard are recommended to maintain condition.
After every dive, rinse the knife and scabbard separately with fresh water and dry thoroughly with a cloth or absorbent paper. Even if the knife wasn’t used, salt and moist scabbards can trap corrosion, so separate drying helps protect the blade and retention system. Store the knife dry and check straps and release components periodically for wear.
Who is this for: The SEAC Sharp suits freedivers, spearfishers, and recreational scuba divers who want a compact, ambidextrous cutting tool that mounts on the forearm or calf. It’s aimed at users seeking a durable stainless-steel dagger with both smooth and serrated edges for general underwater cutting tasks, rope or net emergencies, and a fast-release scabbard system that works with either hand. If you prioritize a low-profile blade with multiple mounting options and straightforward maintenance, the SEAC Sharp is designed to meet those needs.
Q: Is the SEAC Sharp blade serrated or straight?
A: It features a dagger-style blade with one smooth edge and one serrated edge for versatile cutting.
Q: Can I mount the knife on my calf?
A: Yes. Two straps are included so you can fasten the scabbard to either the forearm or calf.
