SECANOX Damascus Pocket Knife is a 3.54-inch VG-10-core folding knife with a 76-layer Damascus blade and a smooth sandalwood handle built for everyday carry and outdoor use.

This handcrafted-style folding knife combines a corrosion-resistant VG-10 core with multiple carbon-steel Damascus layers for a balance of edge retention and decorative patterning. The wooden sandalwood handle is shaped for comfort and visual appeal, while the liner lock and ball-bearing deployment system make opening and closing reliable and single-handed. A padded zippered storage case is included for organized carry and protection.

How sharp and durable is the Damascus blade?

The blade contains a VG-10 stainless-steel core surrounded by 76 carbon-steel layers, heat-treated to about 58–60 HRC for a good mix of toughness and edge life. The layered Damascus finish also offers surface corrosion resistance and an attractive wave pattern that evolves with use and care.

• 76-layer Damascus construction with VG-10 core for strength.
• Heat-treated to 58–60 HRC for durability and edge retention.
• Patterned finish that resists light corrosion with proper maintenance.

What makes the sandalwood handle comfortable and functional?

The handle is crafted from natural sandalwood, shaped to fit the hand ergonomically and balanced to reduce fatigue during repetitive cutting tasks. Smooth contours and carved steel accents provide secure purchase while preserving an elegant, classic appearance.

• Natural sandalwood offers tactile warmth and grip.
• Ergonomic shaping for stable control during use.
• Steel accent details add visual contrast and strength.

Is it practical for everyday carry and outdoor activities?

Yes—this folding knife opens smoothly with a ball-bearing pivot and locks safely with a liner lock for confident one-handed deployment and use. Its size and included zippered case make it easy to store in a pack, glovebox, or pocket for camping, fishing, or urban EDC tasks.

• Ball-bearing deployment enables fast, one-handed opening.
• Liner lock secures the blade for safe cutting jobs.
• Zippered storage case protects the knife and simplifies transport.

How should I care for the knife to keep it performing well?

Keep the blade clean and dry after use, occasionally oil the pivot and locking surfaces, and store the knife in its case when not in use. For long-term preservation, lightly oil the blade to help prevent surface oxidation and avoid cutting acidic or highly corrosive materials without prompt cleaning.

• Wipe blade dry after exposure to moisture or food.
• Use a drop of light oil on the pivot and liner lock periodically.
• Store in the included zippered case away from humidity.
