Sharkborough NODLAND 40L Lightweight Travel Backpack, White, Medium 40L for Men & Women – Foldable Water-Resistant Daypack

The Sharkborough NODLAND is a 40L lightweight, foldable, water-resistant travel backpack built for day hikes, commuting, and travel where compact storage and durable construction matter.

Designed to balance capacity with portability, this Sharkborough daypack unfolds to hold essentials for a full day out yet compresses small enough to stash in luggage or a larger bag. Constructed from ripstop nylon with reinforced stitching and abrasion-resistant zippers, it aims to give reliable performance on trails, at the airport, or during daily commutes.

How much can this backpack carry without feeling heavy?

The NODLAND expands to a 40-liter main capacity while weighing just 0.85 lb when empty, so it provides ample room without adding unnecessary bulk. Its internal layout separates equipment to keep weight balanced and comfortable.

• Main compartment: roomy 40L storage for clothing and gear
• Dedicated laptop pocket: secures a device while separating it from clothing
• Front zip and inner zip pockets: quick access to small items and valuables
• Two side pockets: water bottle or quick-reach items

Will it stand up to outdoor use and wet weather?

Fabric and hardware choices prioritize resilience: high-strength ripstop nylon resists tearing and a reinforced back and bottom reduce wear in high-contact areas. The exterior is water-resistant to shed light rain and splashes, though it is not a fully waterproof dry bag.

• Ripstop nylon body with double-stitched tear points
• Reinforced back and bottom for abrasion resistance
• Abrasion-resistant zippers to extend hardware life
• Water-resistant finish for everyday protection against moisture

How comfortable is it for long walks or hikes?

Comfort features include breathable mesh shoulder straps filled with sponge padding and an adjustable chest strap to stabilize load movement. These elements reduce shoulder pressure and help keep the pack secure during active use.

• Breathable mesh shoulder straps with padding for airflow and cushioning
• Adjustable chest strap to prevent bounce and improve balance
• Lightweight frame to minimize fatigue while carrying full loads

How compact does it fold, and where can I take it?

When folded it measures 8.3 x 7.5 x 3.1 inches, so it tucks easily into luggage or a car glovebox for on-demand use. Its versatility makes it suitable for day hikes, weekend travel, commuting, beach days, or as a backup bag for shopping.

• Folded dimensions: 8.3 x 7.5 x 3.1 inches for space-saving storage
• Unfolded dimensions: 17.3 x 13.4 x 8.7 inches providing full 40L capacity
• Light enough to carry as a spare pack in checked luggage or carry-on

Who is this for? The Sharkborough NODLAND is made for travelers, hikers, and everyday commuters who want a single pack that combines roomy storage with lightweight, packable convenience. It suits people who need reliable construction and organized pockets without committing to a heavy, multi-day rucksack. Note: not intended for children 12 and under.
