Silverback Portable Basketball Hoop Top Weight — 100 lb Capacity, Universal Fit, Weather-Resistant

Silverback Universal Weight is a heavy-duty top-weight designed to sit on most portable basketball hoop bases and hold up to 100 lbs of sand for improved stability without unsightly substitutes.

If your portable basketball goal wobbles or requires improvised anchors, this universal top weight offers a purpose-built solution. Crafted from long-lasting materials and shaped to sit securely on a variety of base designs, the Silverback weight boosts ballast while keeping the look of your court neat. It’s meant to be filled with sand (not included) and leaves you with a streamlined, weather-resistant finish that lasts through seasons of play.

How does this weight make portable hoops steadier?

The weight adds concentrated ballast directly atop the hoop base where it helps resist tipping forces from wind and aggressive play. Its form distributes sand mass evenly and lowers the center of gravity for a more stable setup.

• Holds up to 100 lbs of sand for substantial added mass.
• Designed to sit on top of most portable hoop bases for direct stabilization.
• Reduces need for improvised anchors like cinderblocks or loose items.

Will it fit my portable basketball goal base?

The Silverback Universal Weight was engineered to be compatible with the majority of portable basketball hoop bases on the market. Its broad footprint and tapered edges allow it to rest securely on different base shapes, though unique or proprietary bases may require verification.

• Universal shape intended to fit common round, rectangular, and molded bases.
• Measure your hoop’s top base area to confirm a snug fit before purchase.
• Does not attach permanently—sits on top for easy removal and refilling.

How durable and weather-resistant is the product?

Constructed from robust, weather-tolerant materials, this top weight is built to endure outdoor exposure without rapid degradation. UV additives and sturdy plastics resist cracking and fading so the weight performs season after season.

• Durable construction withstands rain, sun, and temperature changes.
• Form resists deformation when filled and during routine use.
• Low-maintenance surface is easy to rinse clean and store off-season.
