Skating Spirit Gel Knee Pads for Youth, Black, Small — Slim Patella Cushion, Anti-Slip Support

Skating Spirit Gel Knee Pads are slim, contoured gel sleeves that cushion and stabilize the kneecap for dancers, skaters, and gymnasts. These lightweight, low-profile knee pads combine a centered patella gel insert with surrounding ring padding to reduce impact and friction when training on floors, performing routines, or stretching. Designed to stay in place, the pads use an anti-slip silicone cuff and breathable elastic fabric to wick moisture and allow a full range of motion during practice.

How do these knee pads protect the kneecap during training?

The gel insert sits over the patella to absorb shock and spread pressure away from the kneecap while the outer ring padding stabilizes the joint. The design minimizes direct contact with hard surfaces, which helps reduce bruising and abrasion during floor work.

• Patella-centered gel cushion disperses impact
• Surrounding ring padding adds lateral support
• Soft inner fabric reduces friction against skin

Will these pads stay put through jumps, spins, and floor drills?

The cuff includes an anti-slip silicone coating that grips the skin or clothing to prevent the sleeve from rolling or sliding. The trapezium shape and elastic fabric create a snug fit that moves with you instead of constraining motion.

• Silicone-coated cuff resists slipping during activity
• Contoured shape follows natural knee anatomy
• Lightweight construction preserves mobility

How should I choose the right size and care for them?

Measure thigh circumference about 5 inches (12 cm) above the kneecap and match that measurement to the size chart. To keep the gel and fabric performing well, hand wash gently and air dry rather than using a machine dryer.

• Small: thigh 25–40 cm (youth)
• Medium: thigh 35–50 cm (youth/adult)
• Large: thigh 40–55 cm (adult)

What materials and features improve comfort during long practices?

High-elasticity fabric wraps the knee without binding, while breathable fibers wick moisture away from skin to reduce clamminess. The inner surface has low-friction fabric next to the gel so the pad feels comfortable even with extended wear.

• Durable elastic fabric for long-term use
• Breathable material that wicks moisture quickly
• Low-friction interior for all-day comfort

Who is this for These knee pads are intended for youth and adults training in dance, figure skating, gymnastics, floor barre, cheer, and similar activities where kneeling, sliding, or repeated floor contact occurs. They suit athletes who want low-profile protection that preserves flexibility and reduces surface impact while practicing drills, choreography, or conditioning sessions.

FAQ

Q: Can I wear these knee pads for figure skating practice?

A: Yes. They’re designed for floor and on-ice drills where cushioning and patella support are helpful, maintaining mobility without bulk.

Q: How do I choose the correct size?

A: Measure thigh circumference about 5 inches (12 cm) above the kneecap and match it to the Small/Medium/Large size ranges.
