SMITH Frontier Snow Goggles — Black with RC36 Lens, Medium Fit, Anti-Fog Ventilation

The SMITH Frontier Snow Goggles in Black with RC36 lens are a medium-fit, helmet-compatible snow goggle engineered for clear, low-fog vision and secure wear across varied winter conditions.

Built around a durable silicone frame and a cylindrical dual-lens system, the Frontier pairs Fog-X inner coating with an air low ventilation channel to reduce condensation while you move. The RC36 lens offers balanced contrast for mixed light on the mountain, and a single-layer compression-molded face foam helps the goggles sit comfortably against goggles and helmets. A dual-slide strap adjustment and silicone backing keep the strap locked to helmets and apparel, while availability in an Asia fit gives additional options for face shape and seal.

How does the Frontier reduce fog during active skiing or riding?

The Frontier combines an anti-fog inner lens coating with designed ventilation to manage humidity and airflow across the optics. Together these features help maintain clearer sightlines through changes in temperature and exertion without relying on add-on treatments.

• Fog-X inner lens resists moisture build-up on the lens surface
• Air low ventilation channels promote steady airflow behind the lens
• Cylindrical dual-lens construction supports even airflow and thermal balance
• Silicone frame tolerates flex and maintains lens alignment under movement

What fit and comfort features should I expect from the medium Frontier fit?

The Frontier’s medium fit is tailored to a broad range of adult faces and is available in an Asia-specific cut for those needing a slightly different contour. Single-layer compression-molded face foam offers close contact without excessive pressure, and the frame materials are designed to flex with motion instead of digging into the face.

• Medium fit profile for general adult face shapes
• Asia fit option improves seal for alternative facial geometries
• Single-layer foam for breathability and comfortable cushion
• Dual-slide strap adjustment for quick, precise tensioning

How does the Frontier integrate with helmets and other gear?

The Frontier is built to pair seamlessly with most modern helmets while maintaining an ultra-wide field of view. The silicone-backed strap prevents slippage on helmet shells and helps keep goggles centered when turning your head or making quick movements.

• Helmet compatible frame curvature for secure, gap-minimizing fit
• Ultra-wide strap increases contact area and stability
• Silicone-backed strap grips helmet surfaces to prevent sliding
• Low-profile frame reduces bulk under helmet brims and liners

What optical benefits and visibility should I expect from the RC36 lens?

The RC36 lens is tuned to enhance contrast and balance glare rejection across variable mountain light, making it suited for mixed conditions. Its cylindrical dual-lens shape provides a broad, unobstructed field of view while supporting the anti-fog and ventilation features integrated into the frame.

• Cylindrical dual-lens for a wide, consistent viewing plane
• RC36 tint balances contrast for mixed cloud and sun conditions
• Lens construction supports Fog-X coating longevity
• Designed to minimize optical distortion across the lens surface

Who is this for: The SMITH Frontier Snow Goggles Black / RC36 are intended for skiers and snowboarders who want a reliable, comfortable goggle that balances anti-fog performance, helmet compatibility, and a medium fit. It suits riders who value straightforward optics and strap stability for all-day use on groomers, variable mountain terrain, and resort riding. If you need a different facial fit, check the Asia fit option; if you wear larger helmets or prefer maximal peripheral vision, the ultra-wide strap and low-profile frame support those preferences.
