SOG Opcon Hydration Day Pack — 18.2L Tactical Backpack with 2L Reservoir, Black, MOLLE & Water‑Resistant

The SOG Opcon Hydration Day Pack is a compact 18.2-liter tactical backpack that includes a 2‑liter hydration reservoir and versatile storage for hiking, commuting, or field use.

Designed for users who need a dependable everyday pack with integrated water-carrying ability, this SOG daypack blends organizational pockets, MOLLE attachment points, and a comfortable carrying system. Built from water‑resistant materials and finished with rugged hardware, the Opcon is sized for day trips while offering modular expansion for extra gear.

How does the hydration system keep water available on the move?

The pack includes a 2‑liter reservoir stored in a rear sleeve with left and right exit ports for routing the drinking tube to either shoulder. The bite valve gives quick access to water without removing the pack, making it ideal for continuous hydration while active.

• 2‑liter bladder with tubing and low‑profile bite valve
• Dual routing ports for left or right shoulder delivery
• Rear reservoir sleeve keeps weight close to the back for stability

What organizational features help carry daily essentials?

SOG arranged multiple pockets for neat storage: a roomy main compartment, a secondary compartment with a wide 180° zip opening, and a front organizer pocket for small items. A top zippered pocket provides quick access to sunglasses, keys, or a phone.

• Main compartment fits layers, snacks, and compact gear
• Secondary compartment with 180° opening for easy packing and access
• Front organizer pocket and top zip pocket for small essentials

How does the pack attach extra pouches or gear?

The Opcon features heavy‑duty MOLLE webbing across the front and sides so you can add compatible pouches, tools, or modular accessories. A hook‑and‑loop panel accepts morale patches or ID tabs, and compression straps help secure added attachments and stabilize load.

• MOLLE webbing for pouches, magazine carriers, or utility pockets
• Hook‑and‑loop front panel for patches or customization
• Side compression straps to tighten the load when pockets are full

Will it stay comfortable for long walks or commutes?

Yes — adjustable, padded yoke‑style shoulder straps and an adjustable sternum slider distribute weight across the upper torso for steadier carrying. The webbed waist belt offers extra security during active movement, and the pack’s compact 18.2‑liter volume keeps loads manageable.

• Padded shoulder straps with yoke shape for ergonomic support
• Adjustable sternum slider and webbed waist belt for stability
