SPARK Golf Cart Battery Restore Solution is a 64-ounce desulfator liquid formulated to dissolve sulfation in flooded lead-acid batteries and help restore charge acceptance and runtime.
When lead-acid batteries age or sit unused, sulfate crystals form on the plates and reduce their ability to take a full charge. SPARK’s 64 oz restore solution is made in the USA and designed to be added to flooded lead-acid cells to break down sulfation, improve charge efficiency, and extend service life when used alongside a compatible charger/maintainer. This product is intended for flooded (wet) lead-acid batteries only and offers a practical, non-toxic option for homeowners, fleet managers, and service technicians working with golf carts, forklifts, solar banks, and automotive starter batteries.
The solution works by penetrating battery cells to attack and dissolve lead sulfate deposits that form during discharge and long-term storage. Once sulfation is reduced, cells can accept charge more readily and maintain higher voltage between cycles. For best results, use the product as part of a charging and maintenance routine rather than as a one-time quick fix.
SPARK Restore is formulated exclusively for flooded lead-acid batteries and is not suitable for AGM, Gel, frozen, or dry batteries. It is broadly compatible across many flooded battery uses, making it a flexible option for equipment owners and technicians who maintain mixed fleets. Always check the battery manufacturer’s specifications before applying any additive.
Dosage is measured per cell to ensure consistent conditioning across battery types. Follow the indicated volumes to avoid over- or under-treatment; one 64 oz bottle is sized to treat multiple cells in a golf cart pack while leaving extra solution for follow-up maintenance. Application requires simple pouring into each cell after removing caps and following safety steps.
Use protective gloves and eyewear, work in a ventilated area, and keep the solution away from children and pets. This non-toxic formula was developed for safe handling, but standard battery precautions still apply: avoid sparks, follow charger instructions, and ensure cells are not frozen or physically damaged. If a battery is completely dead and the charger cannot start, remove and charge that battery separately with an automotive-style charger before treatment.
Who is this for? SPARK Golf Cart Battery Restore Solution is aimed at golf cart owners, small fleet operators, solar system maintainers, and technicians who need a cost-effective method to recover runtime and extend the life of flooded lead-acid batteries. It’s best suited for batteries one to five years old that still accept charging but show diminished capacity. For sealed or irreversibly damaged batteries, replacement remains the recommended route.
Q: Can this be used on AGM or Gel batteries?
A: No. SPARK Restore is formulated for flooded (wet) lead-acid batteries only and should not be used on AGM or Gel types.
Q: How many treatments are recommended per battery life?
A: Use once per year for preventative care and up to three treatments over a battery’s service life for best results.
