Speedo Optical Vanquisher 2.0 swim goggles, Clear, Size -5.5, unisex racing panoramic prescription-ready

Speedo Unisex-Adult Swim Goggles Optical Vanquisher 2.0 are low-profile racing goggles with built-in corrective lenses and wide panoramic views for clearer, faster swimming.

Designed for swimmers who want a performance-oriented, prescription-ready goggle, the Optical Vanquisher 2.0 combines corrective optics with a slim race silhouette and expanded peripheral vision. These goggles are built to sit close to the face, reduce drag, and keep eyesight sharp during laps, sprints, or open-water sets. The double head strap and cushioned silicone seals provide a stable, leak-resistant fit across a variety of head shapes.

How do these goggles help swimmers who need vision correction?

The Optical Vanquisher 2.0 comes with integrated corrective lenses available in negative diopters, so near-sighted swimmers can ditch contact lenses or bulky overlays. The prescription options are applied directly to each lens, delivering consistent visual clarity without altering the goggle profile or hydrodynamics.

• Corrective strengths from -1.0 to -8.0 diopters
• Individual lens correction for balanced vision
• Clear optics that stay in place through vigorous movement

What makes the panoramic lenses useful during training and racing?

Panoramic lenses in the Vanquisher 2.0 expand peripheral sight so swimmers can better monitor lane cues, competitors, and stroke alignment. The wider field of view reduces the need to turn the head frequently, keeping body position and momentum more consistent over distance.

• Increased side-to-side visibility compared with narrow goggles
• Low-profile curvature to cut drag while offering a broad view
• Sharper edge awareness for turns and drafting situations

How does the fit system prevent leaks and maintain comfort?

These goggles pair cushioned silicone seals with a dual-strap design to create a secure, comfortable barrier against water entry. Multiple nose-piece sizes let you tailor the bridge fit for minimal pressure and optimal lens alignment.

• Soft silicone seals conform to facial contours for long sessions
• Double head strap for even tension and reduced slip
• Four interchangeable nose pieces to fine-tune spacing and comfort

Are these goggles suitable for both pool and open-water use?

Yes—the Optical Vanquisher 2.0 works well in pools, triathlons, and open-water swims where clear vision and a streamlined profile matter. Choose lens tints and prescription strengths that match your environment and light conditions for best results.

• Low-profile shape reduces drag in competitive settings
• Panoramic optics help maintain situational awareness outdoors
• Durable construction stands up to regular training use

Who is this for: The Speedo Optical Vanquisher 2.0 is aimed at competitive and serious recreational swimmers who require corrective lenses but refuse to compromise on speed, fit, or field of vision. It’s a solid option for triathletes, masters swimmers, club racers, and anyone who trains frequently and needs reliable, prescription-ready goggles that stay comfortable through long workouts.
