Spitfire skateboard wheels Formula 4 99d Conical Full 53mm — white with blue accents, durable high-durometer urethane (set of 4)

Spitfire Formula 4 99d Conical Full 53mm wheels are a performance-oriented skateboard wheel set—four high-quality wheels engineered for consistent roll, pop, and reliable street or park use.

These Spitfire wheels pair a conical full profile with a 53mm diameter and a high-durometer 99d compound to deliver predictable slides, responsive turning, and long-lasting urethane. Sold only as a complete set of four, the wheels come in a clean white finish with blue accents and are built for skaters who demand a balance of speed and control across urban and skatepark terrain.

What riding feel does a 53mm conical full wheel deliver?

A 53mm diameter keeps the center of gravity low for stability and quick flicks on ledges and rails, while the conical full profile combines a wide footprint for grip with defined lips for slide control. Expect nimble responses in technical lines and a consistent contact patch when landing tricks.

• Low center of gravity for stable flip tricks and manuals
• Wide contact patch for traction on park surfaces
• Defined lip geometry that helps control slides and lock-ins

How does the Formula 4 99d compound affect performance?

The Formula 4 99d urethane emphasizes durability and a firmer feel that resists flatspots and keeps roll speed up on rougher surfaces. This compound suits skaters who prioritize longevity and consistent behavior over a softer, more shock-absorbing ride.

• High-durometer 99d for reduced wear and fewer flatspots
• Maintains roll speed across cracks and textured concrete
• Firm rebound for predictable slides and pop maintenance

Will these wheels fit my setup and bearings?

Yes—these 53mm wheels use a standard skateboard hub and accept sealed bearings common to most setups. They require the usual axle spacers and are compatible with street, park, and many cruiser trucks, but check wheel clearance on very low or highly riser-altered boards.

• Standard bearing seat fits most 8mm skateboard bearings
• Sold in sets of four—ready to mount to a complete or replacement setup
• Measure clearance if your board has deep risers or very low trucks

How should I care for and maintain these wheels?

Keep bearings clean and lubricated to preserve roll and inspect wheels periodically for chunking or uneven wear. Rotate wheels between positions if you notice uneven abrasion to extend life and preserve consistent performance.

• Clean bearings with a solvent and relube periodically
• Swap wheel positions to even out wear patterns
• Replace wheels showing severe chunking or cracked urethane

Who is this for: The Spitfire Formula 4 99d Conical Full 53mm wheels are aimed at street and park skaters who want a firm, reliable wheel with controlled slides and long wear. If you ride technical lines, ledges, or transition and value predictable response and durability, this set of four white-and-blue Spitfire wheels is a practical upgrade or replacement for most modern skateboard setups.
